Community manager fourzerotwo has dropped a bombshell on the PC community as he confirmed there will be NO dedicated servers, no mods, no server lists and matchmaking only for the PC version on Modern Warfare 2, a first for the Call of Duty series, a series known for its large modding community and high number of dedicated servers.

Lol after confirming no dedicated servers and such there is a brief silence and someone says something like the silence that you hear is because the PC community is reliant on dedicated servers and are built around that...or something close to that.

LOL they took down the link that i have linked in my OP it seems. It was a thread a MOD made on their forums.

I went to the forums and no longer could find that thread. It was stickied I think.

What about people outside of the US or wherever the servers will be hosted? Won't they be getting massive lag from these IWNet.com matchmaking server things.
