No, and no. But the option to play a Qunari would be fun. BTW according to the codex the Qunari have cannon and thus presumably gunpowder. Where is my boom-stick?

That'd be a villain. Not an anti hero.

But whilst I wouldn't like a Darkspawn origin, slowly turning into a Darkspawn during the game would be cool.

simplest would be breaking the rules of the qun and being exiled where you could be attacked by the darkspawn then saved by the wardans and in doing so give your self to the cause in order to prove your in order to be welcomed by in your home land?

i was trying to figure out how to use toolset and hopefully maybe able to apply a genlock or hurlock head on one of the original races but no luck i have no clue on how to use toolset any tips?

I think there might be a way to play as a qunari, however im not shure how adn the orge darkspawn is easy tought just download a mod, it lets you play as arcdemon and somme other bosses and orgeaswell.

Qunari would be easier to explain, and the 'joining ritual' would be odd if you were already a darkspawn. "I need 3 vials of blood?" *Cuts open arm* "One... two.... three. Okay, now what? I have to drink it? Why? I just got it out of me!"



Qunari - One of Sten's group or another group sent for the same reason. Lost your sword or broke some Qunari law and got exiled. While fighting to the death with an Ogre in a bareknuckle brawl to the death Duncan kill steals your ogre, and you fly into a rage. After awaking, battered and bruised - being healed by Duncan, he asks you if you would like to join him to 'Do something for the world'. If you refuse, he can offer the chance to "Go looking for your sword, with all the Wardens, just as soon as they beat the blight." Bamn, Qunari Grey Warden.

It always pissed me off that you couldn't be a Qunari warden. After I met Sten, i just knew a Qunari Warden would be so cool! I Like your idea for the qunari story.

Darkspawn Grey Warden? Rather illogical, as the GW's main - only? - purpose is to destroy darkspawn. And how do you imagine recruiting a shriek?

On the other hand, I like the idea of playing a villain instead of a hero. That would be fun to be a destroyer every now and again. In RPGs it's always the same scheme - yes, you can play a bad guy, be rude to everyone you meet and kill whoever opposes you, but in the end you have to save the world whether you like it or nor, otherwise completing the game is impossible. But how many times can you be the saviour?

Yes, if they released an expansion allowing you to become a Genlock, I'd buy it right away!

Not sure how it would work, I mean... You wouldent be able to buy any equipment.. Or go into towns without starting a riot. Unless you mean sometime in the future where Darkspawn are civilized and have their own cities?

That would not work. And anyways, I would rather not know about the darkspawn lifestyle. It would be impossible for bioware to suddenly release an expansion where you play the very enemey, after two games were the plots center around the grey wardens? I don't think so.



However, a future game with the qunari as a playable race would be brilliant, grey warden or not I would want to play the game badly!
