Still, complaining about something that was present for the other "controversial" specialisations (I mean, look at the Reaver or Blood Mage specs) seems a little late if you ask me.

Okay, finished my first hour or so, and I have to say that I'm enjoying it. It kicks things off quickly and throws you in before you can get settled. Tons of fun. The only complaint I really have so far is that if you haven't already been playing months on end (I took a hiatus from the game for a while), then you can easily feel overwhelmed by just the sheer amount that you have to do from the very beginning. Other than that though, so far, so good.



I did experience the dreaded Joining everyone's worried about, and although mine turned out just as everyone feared, I'm holding out hope that there are things you can do to alter the outcome. Also, I got Nate into my party, and if you aren't a completely prejudiced Cousland who's already made up their mind, he quickly shows himself redeemable. You can still kill him though... so there's that. >.>

omg thank you bioware, finially an edgy companion that I can play with, he kinda looks like calian lol, but with black hair and a goatee, kinda bothers me alittle that some of the companions look alittle like, he still he resembles howe which is great, just don't know how the king got in the mix though XD. Still I can forgive that since I got PC, I'll just simply change it. If I should ever get it, I'll be looking forward to playing this dude

right? he was sympathetic to my HN's family, not like the comic... and as you get to know him he's a really good guy... he's the only character whose approval I've maxed so far

My thought exactly. I wanted to be as mean to him as possible, but he accepted that R. Howe was evil and brought everything on himself, so soon that I just couldn't force myself to kick Nate anymore.

Re: Nate...I subscribed to the 'keep your enemies closer' theory. So far so good, scored big with the lock picking tool set and he's complaining less often.

I'm having trouble killing this dude. In the trailer he sounded like a cocky a**hole, who I wouldn't miss.

How come he's so nice and understanding while talking to you? My goodie two shoes Cousland is almost feeling guilty. Why can't he be angry and insult me a bit or something to make it easier to swing my sword to his forehead?

Damn. I was happier to kick that stupid dwarf away (ha, ha, Alistair's stuck with it :-p) than killing this dude.

Suckage. Somebody has to make a mod so I won't feel so remorseful :-D
