I just saw this today and wondered if any of you fellow Mac users have tried CrossOver Games?

http://www.codeweave...oducts/cxgames/

It seems to be an answer for those not wanting to wait for the Mac version of games but also not want to run BootCamp everytime/buy Windows.

Any experience with this? Does it slow down the game too much?

*I am just getting a bit impatient with Bioware/Transgaming on the official news of patches/RtO/Awakening. Sorry ;)

I have crossover games, but haven't tried it with Dragon age. Maybe I will give that a try with the EA downloader...

I have tried it, doesn't work very well, graphical glitches everywhere.... but that was some time ago with CrossOver 8, now that 9 is out maybe it'll be better?

It works well for some games, I play Baldur's Gate II with it...

Also the EA downloaded was a no go in crossover games...

CrossoverGames works best when they do a customized version for a certain game. You can vote on their site for the game you like them to do this.

Anyway, I tried the uncostumized version and it only worked on lowest graphic quality, and tended to crash often. I'd say it's obsolete now that there's an "official" Mac version.
