A while back I finished the campaign with a city elf warrior and now I would like to play the DLC I've bougth. Do you know how it's done? I load my "post coronation" save, talk to everybody and exit with the guard to great the crowd. After the credits I press resume game, but when I do it loads the "post coronation" again. And there is no new save game outside party camp or anything (which I'm pretty sure was the case with my other char, that had no problems playing the DLCs, and who I also finished before buying the DLCs).

Has it anything to do with Loghain who is in this party? Any help is appreciated!

At some point after beating the archdemon, the game "autosaves" a file where your party is in camp. It is quite easy for this autosave to get overwritten or replaced by one inside the coronation. Any manual saves you've made also will not work as they are in the coronation as well, post or no. The only save that works is that autosave that pops up briefly after the archdemon fight.

You might need to reload a save before the fight and beat him again. Then immediately save when you get the autosave in the camp. Load that one and save it to a new file so it doesn't go away.
