it might have been nice if the devs had addeda new line for each *race*. The Legion scout line seems more like a dwarf line (from the descriptions) than a rogue line.Leaving that aside, it easily seems more a warriro line than rogue, I mean, none of the abilities seems rogueish in any way.

Now that's an interesting idea for Dragon Age 2.

i agree completely.  the spirit warrior line and the legionnaire scout seem to have their classes mixed up...  scout seems more suited to the warrior's "i'm the juggernaut" attitude, and the spirit warrior's speed and minor magic resist effects seem more suited to the rogue.

not gonna complain though, the strength gain from the scout will probably allow rogues to wear the new armor without investing any points into strength.  that's always a good thing.

Does anyone knows if they even bothered fixing any of the spells from Origins? like haste making archer firing slower, or mana clash one shoting boss for a thousand damage?

These were not fixed in the 1.03 patch, which is the same game version whether you are using DA:A or DA:O with the 1.03 patch. In fact, the patch did little more than make the game accommodate the expansion. It certainly didn't address serious mechanics issues like ranged weapon attack speed and it introduced numerous bugs (pickpocketing, etc.). Since Bioware's poor QA serves only to busy themselves with fixing their own mistakes, I'm not holding my breath for these mechanics to work properly any time soon.
