Okay, so I've got an actor and I am trying to attach a blood spatter vfx to him in a cutscene. It is fxa_bloodsmall_c. So I insert new vfx -> that -> select my guy in the actor field. Then, I move the embedded animation to the appropriate point. Here is where it gets weird.
Initially I placed this animation at a certain time, lets call it 100 frames. I noticed when I ran the cutscene in game that this was too early, so I moved the animation to 110 frames. However, it didn't seem to make any difference. I even tried moving the embedded animation to 300 frames and it's STILL playing at 100 frames. I am definitely saving/exporting the cutscene properly; I could, for example, change my guy into a giant spider; just not get the blood spatter to move.
I even tried deleting the vfx, which works but as soon as I add a new copy of fxa_bloodsmall_c it once again plays at 100 frames! Help?
