[Big stupid jellyfish]

I'm pressing H and Shepard holsters the weapon and I can hear the appropriate comments from the squadmates, like 'All clear' or 'Quiet, I like it' - but they are still holding their guns nevertheless.

Can someone please tell me whether it's a bug or a feature? Do you experience the same?

I experience the same. I'm pretty sure it's a feature - they simply aren't as confident as you that the fighting is over. (And probably with good reason, unless they're brandishing guns in the market or something.)
