I was a little miffed that we didn't get to give Duncan a proper send off, although his sword gets to beat the snot out of the Archdemon in my game- which counts for something.



I think that by having his sword and dagger available after sending the reanimated ogre off to its second death does make up for it. That with his shield sort of carries his legacy through the game, the same way I think Cailan's arms do.

i dont know about honoring duncans body but i sure as hell wanted his armor it is by far the coolest in the game all wardens should have samuraish type armor

I hope Duncan stays dead simply because it would ruin the entire scene's emotional impact, Duncan's death could also be motivation to make Loghain pay.

And because whilst talking about something else..yesterday,  David Gaider finally confirmed that Duncan is dead. 

So basically in this thread we're kind of having fun with imagining what happened to Duncan

I definitely agree with the notion that Duncan had a pretty decent death and that I don't want to see him coming back in any way as a darkspawn or whatever in a future expansion or sequel. However his body really should have been there in RTO for us to give him a proper send off, I actually spent a good half an hour searching every inch of the RTO areas for his body because I just assumed it would be there somewhere before I finally gave up and came to the forums to see if anyone else had the same trouble finding it only to realize that it simply isn't there, with no in game reason as to why it wouldn't be there, as someone else said we have to just imagine that his body was eaten and leave it at that...bit annoying really >,<

He is going to end up in Mass Effect II in a cryo tank. Duncan probally will think that the Reapers and the bad aliens are darkspawn in space.
