I downloaded Dragon Age: Origin Character Creator from Steam and have made a few characters. ( Love Steam)
I do not see the option to upload characters from the Steam Version.
Is it just me or do I have to download the one from the official site?
Hoping to get my stat ring. :innocent:

Got a bumber too.
Evidently my Neverwinter Nights account could not be merged to this one...
Is it bad luck night?

Hurm, when you reach the end of the character creation/modification process, there should be a button directly below the portrait but above the stat summary that says "Upload Profile".

You have to be logged in, in-game, to do it, I think...



I'm not using the steam version, but I can't see it being different...

Ahh that is it... My Log-in Button Never gets enabled.

It's barely lighter than the others. I clicked it many a times before I realized it.



Upload Profile just brings me to this site and I get a page that no "Profile Data exists for Dragon Age".



If I buy on Steam I hope I can bind it to this profile... I do not know how steam handles non-valve games. But I don't see them e-mailing you a CD key... hmmm... Maybe i should get Deluxe elsewhere.

Hm, Login button staying gray and unclickable supposedly means that your character creator is not connected to the internet. Were you running Steam in offline mode? Otherwise it can mean that Steam lacks support for the beta yet.

Yeah I have been connected the whole time.



If it uses Non-Steam Standard ports my firewall is blocking it.



Anyone know the ports by chance?
