PS: Teenage girls can't even affort a Mac, because they are expensive. And no, I'm not a Mac fanboy, I'm sort of forced to use Macs because I'm a multimedia designer, I'm an artists who does freelance work such as 3d-moddeling, concept art, movie editing and animation for a living. I need good computers who can run those graphic-intensive programs I use. A Mac is my best bet, expecially because Windows can't even run the programs I use.

First of all, my concern with over heating is simply due to have never owning a computer as powerful as the one I have today.  I have vast technical expertise when it comes to computers.  I can infiltrate high security compounds by disabling their security systems at any computer terminal.
You're also wrong about Bootcamp.  Bootcamp actually is an emulation software that treats Windows like a rom.  It is functional enough but as with all emulated software there will be bugs.  There is no legitimate version of windows for Apple hardware as it is not supported.
Most teenage girls cannot afford macs but the only people I've heard of who actually use them are spoiled teenage girls.  If it weren't for Ipod sales Apple would've declared bankruptcy long ago.

You go ahead and use your mac for your technical labour.  That is your place in society.  My computer is strictly for leisure activity as I answer to a greater calling in life.

You know nothing about computers if you didn't know your Falcon Talon is well equiped with a really good case and some extremely powerful heat-sinks. Every newb can see that by looking at your specs.

And no, you're wrong about bootcamp, it does not emulate Windows. Like I said, Bootcamp helps you installing a legit Windows OS (no special version needed, just a regular Windows XP, Vista or 7) on your Mac. It also installs al the drivers you need, so you can run Windows natively and smoothly on your Mac. My Mac actually runs Windows better than most regular PC's do.

Of course it is equipped with good cooling but we're talking about one of the most powerful setups the world has ever seen.  I spent 3600 dollars on the computer so of course I'm taking precautions.

And no, you're wrong about bootcamp.  All it is is just a tool which gives you a half assed, buggy, un supported version of windows.  Basically it's just like a pirated copy of windows for Mac users who are trying to compensate for the fact that they just wasted a bundle of money on an over-hyped waste of plastic and silicon.

Sorry dude, but the hardware in your computer is not worth much more than 2600 dollars at most. And no, it's not that superior. My friend has build his own computer which eats yours for breakfast. Heck, even my 8-core Mac Pro does (which costed me 3999 goddamn bucks btw).

And about bootcamp. This is a silly yes,no,yes,no,yes,no discussion. I know I'm right and if you think you can smartass me with your blunt lies about your fake knowledge about bootcamp, be my guess, but don't think you can fool me. I'm more educated on this subject than you are, that is something I'm hella sure about after I've read this entire topic and after I've seen how little you actually know about computers. Man, you didn't even know you're i7 processor in your Falcon Talon is just a 2.9ghz i7 chip that's overclocked to 3.3ghz. Maybe you should read the description of the product before you're blindly go buying stuff without even knowing what you're buying. Just a tip: look for some benchmark tests and see what REALLY is the best hardware available, before you're buying a computer.

I don't care if it cost me more than the actual components are worth.  I don't build computers because that is a job for labourers.  I am a warrior, not a labour unit.  Sure it cost me a pretty penny but 3600 dollars is actually not all that much for me considering the fortune I inherited.

For someone who claims to be so educated in computers you sure put heavy emphasis on CPU when it reality CPU speed plays a secondary role to the GPU when it comes to the performance.  Even if your 8 core can best my CPU my computer is still better for gaming due to my computer having the fastest GPU around.  Don't tell me your computer has a faster GPU because I know macintrash motherboards don't support high end ATI cards and Nvidia is currently trash.
Your computer suits you since you're a worker first.  Nothing against that of course as you have a place in society but my role as a warrior means that a tool like a computer can be used at my leisure for whatever purpose I desire.  
Why would anyone in my privliged state desire a mac?  Especially considering they'd be forced to game on an emulated operating system.

While it is a pretty nice computer, why do you think a PC in a resting state will overheat? I run powerfull PC's also Quadcore and Radion's in Crossfire setup. I make my own, but I also have 12 inch case fans with 3 smaller case fans. I would not set your box in a cabinet.

My PC's are on all day long, they get old before they fail, I usually donate the working parts long before they have failed.

I use ASUS system boards and Intel chips. If you are worried, buy a thermistor and monitor the temp. You can set your ASUS boards to monitor and record the CPU/Mainboard temps over several days and see if you do overheat.

Yeah, a Mac isn't your computer if you're just a gamer. Regular gamers don't need expensive Macs, a less expensive gamer-pc is good enough for people like you. But still... 3600bucks... you're ripped off man. If I google Falcon Northwest Talon I can find  the very exact same PC as you have for only 2600dollar. And if you would have build a PC yourself (or let a friend do it for you), you could have build a PC with a similar setup as yours for only 1800bucks.

Your job is to be creative for other people.  I am an artist too, an artist of the human body.  My talent is a priceless commodity that doesn't answer to anyone elses demands or deadlines.
I could've purchased the components and saved hundreds of dollars if I wished but that is the job of the worker.  By doing the job myself I am denying the worker his role in society and upsetting the balance of the workforce.  That balance is important enough to me that I will gladly shell out more money to give someone else the honor of building the fine piece of equipment I have.

The honor of laughing at you behind your back because you just wasted  3600dollars on a piece of equipment that's worth only 2600dollars at most. Yeah, that's quite an honor indeed.

That bargain would've come at someone elses expense inevitably as I am denying someone else their role in the world.
If everybody is self-sufficient it negates the need for cooperation and makes society more isolated.  If we do not cooperate we cannot find mutual understanding between each other as our needs and desires are no longer inter-dependent.

Having read some of the OP's other threads in the past, forgive me if I have a hard time believing he has the pc setup that he claims to have. Besides, if it really was one of the "most powerful computers in the world", I'm sure he would know that leaving a pc on for only 12 hours is not going to hurt it. Not to mention the fact that his "rig" is not even close to being the best sounding. Let's see, "2xATI Radeon 5870s Crossfire setup." Not bad, but hardly "top of the line". "8 Gigs of DDR3 ram" again, not bad, altho i guarantee his is not the only one with that much ram. "1000 watt Silverstone PSU" if you seriously have the graphics card setup the way you do then its highly advised to upgrade this psu (assuming you got two 1GB cards) since just one of those requires a 500W PSU by itself. "300 GB velociraptor drive" why was this information even necessary? I have two 320 GB HD's. Big deal. Long story slightly shorter, if the OP truly has the setup he claims to have, spending the money involved and the time it took to research everything for compatibility and the time to put it together into a working pc from the ground up, I'm sure he should know better than to think 12 hours is going to harm is precious pc. Just my personal opinion..
