Yes I see how bringing a dead person to life is very similar to this video >_>

Eh, IIRC you can't really bring a brain back into working order once it's truly "dead." You could create a new brain or repair it I suppose, but I think it would pretty much be blank, giving you something of a zombie.

People also said you "can't" fly, "can't" split atoms (or "can't" destroy a planet), "can't" go to outer space, etc. Then people went ahead and did those things. Technology makes anything possible. Centuries from now, people will be saying "you can't do that," and somebody will then say "uh, that's what they said about bringing people back to life, idiot."

Only in sci fi it does. And only because sci fi works in the manner of taking scientific terms and shoving them onto fictional elements, hence "sci-fi"

In real life you don't go around saying technology can do this or that until it can literally do so. Until then it's better not to count unhatched chickens.

i wouldnt be suprised if we do have teleport technology already. look at it from a political veiw in order to get something like that out what do you do? you carefully  create an ideology or legislation to pass and introduce it to the public. for instance look at how the gov is gona start the national id card and now fully body scans at airports

That doesn't mean everything you can think of is possible due to technological advancement. I just imagine the best your likely to get is basically a zombie. Perhaps you could have the "zombie" do tasks with the help of biotechnology, yet I don't think it would be possible to restore that person to anything beyond a "blank" body. While your alive however, perhaps it would be possible to transfer your "person", soul, conscious, memories, etc. to a new body. Please note I expect my cyborg body to have a chainsaw for a hand.

Generally I just attribute Shepard's return due to either not being 100% dead or TIM have the equivalent of a scroll of resurrection or something. It really isn't part of the game you are supposed to think about much.

I can't remember too much about what I learned about the brain but I think even if you did regenerate the cells, if the person had been dead for awhile all or most of the "data" is going to be gone.

Actually, NASA wants to put a permanant base on the moon by 2020, and they say that will be our "spring" to Mars. They want us to be on Mars by 2030, buy it will probably take several years after that to put us on Mars. Probably around 2037. I'll be alive though, so whatever. http://www.popularme...ce/4221721.html

nasa is bull **** dude. have you seen the new footage of the moon landing where buzz alrdin found moon bases? that **** was airbrushed out back in the 60's when they showed it on tv. also buzz himself has said and i quote mars is more important instead of the moon. btw theres also a monolith on the moon and all of a sudden the gov decided to blow up the moon with a nuke to look for (( water))

The technology does exist but it's limited to transporting atoms. Did I also mention that the distance is extremely short and it creates a replica of the atom, the actual atom doesn't go anywhere (Startrek teleportation is based off of this, according to a TNG episode that I don't care enough to look up, which is why I think anyone in Startrek who teleports is an idiot.)

You do realize teleporters are an incredibly bad idea, since they'd kill you each time they transport you, right?
