In ME 2 we got to choose a love interest. Well, what will happen in ME 3. What would you do if you had to choose a love interest or your crew  or its something bigger. Maybe its you choose your LI or your ship. What kind of desicion would you make in order to save the galaxy. Would you choose your LI or would you help save the galaxy. What would happen if bioware made you give the ultimate sacrifice. In order to save the galaxy you had to sacrifice yourself or even your LI to save it. I don't know if I would still be in love with my ME romance if I had to make a desicion which would decide the fate of the galaxy.

Would you save one person or save your crew on your ship. This decision was not in ME 2. Could you image it. In order to save your LI. You would have to give up your entire crew. What a weight this would be on Shepard. Also could you do it? Could you watch Ashley/kaiden/ Liara/ Tali/Jack/Jacob/Miranda/Thane/Garrus/Kelly die with if this decision this knowledge of your crew about to die. This isn't about saving your council. This is your crew. The people you die for and who gave their time for you. Joker would also be among them as would be Doctor Chakwas.

I'd like to see all possible decsions just so I could experience it ingame. I imagine a lot of things depend on the exact situation though. If any of my crew were in danger I would "risk" the lives of everyone to get the lost sheep back [LI or not]. However would I "waste" the lives of the crew just to get a LI back and possibly endanger the fate of the entire galaxy in doing so????

I would save the crew rather than my love interest. But I'd be ****ing annoyed if Bioware did something like that to us.

If it came down to that then yes, I would sacrifice the Normandy for my LI. It's a big decision, but my Shepard deserves a happy ending with the LI.

I'd be really happy if BioWare gave us this choice. It's mentioned in almost all of their games, but the choice is never actually there. BioWare games should have hard choices like in The Witcher

I'd sacrifice my LI

What Collider said. Besides, I believe Bioware deserves more credit than that. Choosing between your LI and the galaxy is... freaking stupid. Same thing with choosing between your Shepard and the galaxy.

I'd break the game because my main Shepard has no LI.

Everyone wins.

Mass Effect already has hard choices. We don't need to be punished for our love interests, ESPECIALLY since in ME3 the romances will have had 2/3 games to them.

The LI of my main Shepard is Thane. Killing him off early on top of his already early deathbed would kind of suck. I'd laugh. But it would still suck.

If the LIs do get killed off for whatever reason, I'd hope it would be in an honorable way.

Thane isn't going to thrown away like that. Unless Bioware thinks that female gamers love dying widowers, they're going to keep him alive. They should, anyway.

No, I do not love dying widowers. In fact, I would like it very much if that particular widower stuck around.

I'd load the game and dump Shepard's LI

I'd prefer if this kind of idea was left out of ME3. But that's just my opinion.

Depends on who my LI was... If I was given a choice between LI and Ship/Crew (or insert other person/object here), I'd say it pans out as follows:

Jack or Ship/Crew... Ship/Crew without a moments hesitation.

Jacob, Miranda, Thane, Grunt, would be a pretty hard descision.

Legion/Garrus, would probably take them over the ship.

Tali would instantly be chosen over the ship. (Gee, didn't see that one coming...)

Hm.... I'd stop and think about it, but I'd probably go for the LI. If my Shepard looses her then he will loose his reason to fight.

And honestly, I'll be disappointed if Bioware doesn't include some tough decisions that you can't paragade your way out of. Adds emotional investment and and presents and actual big choice as opposed to get higher paragade and avoid the choice.

Still would obscenely stupid for Bioware to do this. No one wants to have to essentially eat boxes of kittens to keep their LI.

Acutally reapers have awesome mass effect drive cores. They would probably survive the black hole. He would have to come up with something else. Sense they are to dang technical.

I would hate that. Fable 2 pulled that (resurrect all the innocent victims, OR resurrect your dog,OR resurrect your family) and it really didn't add anything meaningful. It just seemed tacked on in a desperate attempt to create depth. I think it COULD be done well, but it would be really difficult, and lots of people would be upset.

Mariquis, it would be even worse in Mass Effect...much much worse. Much easier to form attachments to the Mass Effect characters. So far as family goes, husbands and wives and children in Fable have the slightest amount of complexity to them.

If it came down to that I would save the crew as much as it would pain me. Saving the love interest would be a horrific and utterly selfish thing to do.

True.  Fable wasn't really much for the 'emotional depth.'  But honestly I think without the option for a 'happy ending' people would honestly just be pissed.  Even if it had  a paragon/renegade check that's ridiculously high and you had to meet it or else suffer the consequences.  So long as you could avoid it some way, I'd be happy. Otherwise I think it would be something like "Mouse -- meet monitor."

Which part of massive didn't you understand?

Sorry, hold on. Maybe this would help.

MASSIVE black hole

Get it now?

Edit note: BBCode fail.
