I just got through helping defend Redcliffe and I offered to help the Bar Maid get out of town. she will only leave if I give her 5 gold(500 silver) which is a HUGE chunk of my money (I went here right after lothering) so I'm wondering is it worth doing so and is there a reason to do it? Or is it simply throwing money away as there's nothing more to it?

She does mention how she'd like to pay me back someday, etc and she heads off to Denherim(sp) so I assume once you get there it may have an affect?

Also you can do the same thing with the woman in the Chantry who you take her grandfathers sword, you return it back to her and then you can offer to pay her money for it (100 or 500 silver) which again, is over half of all the money I have.

I'm just wondering if I give both of them the money will it be worth it in the end? Dont' want to blow so much on something that might not even have a reason/afect later on.

I'd be interested in an answer as well, about Bella. I did offer her the 100 silver but she said she would just waste it and be back working at the bar.
