At the end of the cell block on Virmire, there's an area called "Maintenance Bay" behind a locked door, which I can't seem to get open, no matter what. I know this is not the right way and that I have to take the elevator a few rooms before that, but it bothers me, I want to know what's in there... according to the radar there are enemies in there...

That leads to the second entrance, accessible by taking the second entrance.



Since you have already entered the base, there is no need to visit the second entrance aside from being a Completionist. To enter through the second entrance, you have to fork left from the satellite link. This is the opposite end of the walkway from the drone refueling station. But you're not really missing anything, just an alternate way into the base.

ah, thanks for the info... guess I'll have to take the other entrance the next time then, being a completionist and all...
