No. But I'm not much into modding, actually. I'm sure there are much more competent people than me, as far as modding is concerned, on these forums. Hopefully, they can help you out.

That won't work that easy because DLC items are not accessable in the toolset, at least in my toolset no DLC item was listed.Gladiador2 wrote...
i_nemetz, do you know if a simple mod that changes WK items' ID (or creates new items that are exactly as the originals and put them into a chest somewhere) is viable? I'm downloading the toolkit right now to try it (I'm experienced with Oblivion modding...if it's close enough it'll only take 5 minutes to create the mod...in theory).
Any further details about the ID bug would help me, too
It is however possible that some rebuilds the DLC item as a normal mod which puts the things in your inventory. But the mod creator could run into legal problem when extracting and reusing the models and textures from the DLC's erf file.

I'll look into that. At worst we should be able to publish the steps to do it somewhere (maybe in wikia-dragon age), so everybody could do it for personal use. No copy**** laws will be broken this way (I think).
Bad thing is that if I do it myself maybe it'll take some time...I've just restarted my main char and I'm still in Ostagar...so if anybody wishes to do it before me...by all means

It may be possible to use a mod from a fan to import items from past DLC, but we have not tested those and cannot guarantee the results. You are welcome to try, but we are not sure what effect using mods not designed to work with Awakening may have on Awakening, so you do so at your own risk.

Will you sue that modder because of publishing textures extracted from an official DLC?

I'm sure there must be a way to do it the quick and easy way (and not changing tons of code lines as I've read that it should be done).

Chris, it would be great if someone from Bioware could give us a heads up as to why DLCs aren't importing. It would at least give us modders somewhere to start. A lot of us are shooting in the dark, here.
We don't even know what's causing the issue.

Do modded items import? I use mostly items from my addon (check sig), one of the swords uses the starfang model
The best way is to try it, I guess. I don't know if they will or won't. I know that mine did, apparently. BUT again, we're thinking it is IA that did it.

The nasty bug in all of this is that if you're wearing Warden Armor, then you start the expansion naked. That just seems like poor form. Bioware should have at least had a script run to check if items were removed and then given you generic armor of similar quality.
It's sort of funny. In so many topics posters were saying, "oh you'll get replacement gear and won't start naked. Bioware wouldn't do that"..etc.
Uh huh

Same reason for ME2 they told the Legion fans he wasn't a squad-mate, or the many different romance fans that so-and-so wasn't romancable. They love nothing more the to see us squirm.Mass Fraud wrote...
If this is actually true, than why didn't Bioware tell us?
