The Australian EA store lists 16th March as Awakening's release date. It's now 21:40 here and it's still not available.

This is the second time I have had a problem with EA Store purchases, don't think I'll be purchasing from them anymore.

I can't even find the purchase of my game in the order history..

Nope, if you go to customer support from the EA store while logged into your account you should see the purchase listed. But in EADM, not listed, and in the customer support purchase log no redemption key or link yet.

I'm off today, so might as well take another nap.  Looks like the earlier poster is right: it may be live around 10AM PST... you know, once everyone is back in the office laughing about us dorky geeky gamers that thought they would be nice enough to make the download available (especially pre-orders from eager fans) at midnight on release day only to wait a few hours past midnight hoping for the best for naught.

Woe, woe....

At least I had time to defrag the gaming HD....

Patience, young Jedi. Another few days will not kill you. And think about all the people involved in getting this released - the pressure and stress, the disgruntled customers and the multitudes of nasty emails. I have no doubt those people are working their azz off to get this thing out - Let's not add to their stress level. That could actually work against what you desire.

Hey don't get me wrong, I hear you, but I am allowed to be a fanboy.  

 Believe me, 5 years working for UGO/1UP, I am well aware of the mechanizations and processes that drive impatient fanboys like me crazy, as well as the teams behind it that get bashed in forums, but are great people just trying to get paid and get the job done.

But, adding to stress level? LOL! 

With the exception of a few posts here, the vitriol isn't present in this thread and most of the posts are chill.... and in all honesty, the people working their arses off to get us delicious cake know darn good and well most forums are havens for venting tantrums and ridiculous levels of vitriol, so they know better than to let posts from geeky self-entitled gamers that claim to "know the biz and will sue in the name of their rights as a consumer" (lol, lol) get them down.

Trust me, I know this.

Steam shows it unlocking at noon PST today in the US. Maybe the EA store will release it at the same time?

I have the same issue. I have the email confirmation with the order number, but my order history shows nothing.

Donno what's happened but I'm in Canada and my eastore pre-order is not up as well. Hope some ppl can help ask about it as well. btw, where do u guys check the release time? Just curiosity as it's the first time I ever buy a digital version.

My card has been billed but my purchase isn't even showing up in my order history, not sure how I'm meant to activate the download when it becomes available.

I still have my receipt from pre-order through eastore. I'm worried about there not being an unlock code in there... I didn't even think about it before just now. /facepalm

This is good, because I have a huge project to finish today, but still really frustrating.
And no, it isn't showing in my download manager; I was hopeful, because the DM needed an update when I opened it, but apparently the two things were completely unrelated.

The game is set to be released at 10 AM PST today. Please check your account page for updates at that time.

I spent 43 minutes on hold last night with EA. I spoke to "Russell" who promised that EA would have the game available at midnight PST . . . I waited up.



Long story short, still no download. Thanks dick.

I just chatted with the EA rep and he said the download will be available from the EA store at 10 am CST.
