I seem to be having problems with all of my DLC gear
once I import my character over.
The
problem being that none of it is there.....I start the game off naked
and all of my DLC items gone. I went back to
the main menu to check if I still had all off the DLC downloaded and
indeed I still do.
Any reason why this is happening?

Which DLC gear did you import over? You can only import the RTO DLC gear. If you tried any of the other DLC items, then that could be why you're naked!

Why only RTO DLC gear can be imported? What kind of nonsense is this?

So kind of a selective design decision.
Why can RtO stuff import and other DLC stuff can't?
Good question.
2.5 – Will my items, armor, stats, etc transfer over if I import my character from Dragon Age: Origins? (Back to top)
Almost all items are imported with your character. The only exceptions are the Origins promotional items and DLC loot, which were meant for Origins alone.
So kind of a selective design decision.

Really? My Helm of Honleath didn't come through. I'll try the weapons next time - I had given them to others to use since I'd heard they didn't import.

they obviously have a very different definition of "expansion". rather than allow people who paid money for DLC content (i.e. warden's keep) to be able to continue to use it in future expansions, they limit the end user on what content he/she can use.
brilliant.... and by that, i mean "mind-bogglingly ass-backwards".

no items from the keep go over , you keep the shale quest items and return to ostagar stuff. bio ware removed star fang and blood dragon armor, but when will they fix the fact i cant get the elven boots to complete my armor set?

What about money and potions etc.
Shame about the armour, spent ages collecting the bits I want per character and now none will go over.
Oh well by the time they drop the price in the UK they may have patched the DLC as well!!
yes Yes I can dream!
