I do not share Lilith's sense of decorum. Besides, a casual search of other threads here reveal things just as inappropriate to minors. Worse probably.

The "no, but I have brought the dead back to life!" comment implies her charms are such that her mere presence instills certain... shall we say feeling in an individual, which are so keen as to be able to raise the dead.

Sorry if my butting in displeases you Lilith. I just think these forums are poison to minors in general. I wouldn't let any kid of mine surf Off Topic, that's for sure.

it is never my intention to offend anyone. If I have perhaps overstepped myself,then I am truely at fault.But I am me and have to be me for if not, do I cease not to be. But point taken. It is a mature game,hense is maturity disallowed?

I don't just mean sexual innuendo you or others may have posted, so please do not take my comments as directed specifically at you. My comments were directed at this forum in general. Sometimes, gross pictures are posted. At other times, violent descriptions are made. Plus, the occasional political, philosophical, or societal debate that's touched upon... among other things.

Not all BioWare games are mature, but that's moot. This particular forum, that is Off Topic, swings like a pendulum between squeaky clean to crude on a regular basis. Anyone reading half the threads here is going to be exposed to something dodgy sooner or later, so from my perspective it's pointless to try shielding minors.

That, and if a minor is already free to surf the web they can and probably have already seen worse elsewhere. I'm not going to do the job their lazy parents should be by reining myself in.

When I was underage my levels of hormones were scalating like nukes in the 60´s. Probably the minors arround here are not that different from me and I don´t think they will be terribly offended by reading coments as the one above.

I don't think minors are stupid. Quite the contrary, I think many minors are information sponges, which is why I'm concerned about what I expose them too. I actually had a three paragraph post here and wiped it. This topic is one I take particularly seriously for personal reasons, and I don't want to turn this into a derailment about censorship and parenting. Suffice it to say we are likely to disagree on certain points.

I wouldn't mind debating it, really. Although I do often dodge the possibility of a nice debate lately. I did touch on this topic in a group here months ago; although in that case it was specifically about the ESRB ratings on games. It's just that a debate is likely to drag on awhile and I'm not keen on intentionally derailing this thread into a sociology debate.
