ok so i wanted to know if my computer would be able to run the game smoothly... it looks amazing and i hope my computer is good enough. here are the specs:
manufacturer:HP
model:a6803w
rating:3(on the windows experience index)
processor:AMD athlon dual core processor 4850e 2.50GHz
memory RAM:3gb
system type: 32bit

it runs on vista, i just bought it a couple months ago right before the whole free upgrade to windows 7 thing.
I downloaded the character creator and ran it on low cause on the higher setting when the character rocked back and forth it chugged a little. buy on low i couldnt see my characters portrait in that little cirlce. his pic was spotty in pieces. anyway please tell me if it will run smoothly

thanks

The single most important component in a game-capable PC is an actual Mainline or better video card, since over half of 3D games' performance comes from that part.   A Mainline gaming card has at least "600" as its performance code in the name ("50" for a Geforce newer than their # 300 rehash of the 200s), nothing less, and I answered this way because you completely omitted mentioning any graphics at all.

As little PC knowledge as you have, a console version of the game may be more suitable for you.  Put a search engine to work.  There are lectures, tutorials, videos, all kinds of helps, you name it, the 'net has it!

When it comes to video cards, Best But becomes "worst buy" because they charge twice as much as an online retailer such as Newegg, when they only need a much smaller markup to cover the difference in physical plant expenses.

This one is priced right, $50 after rebate, I believe:  www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx

It has four times more VRAM on it than it will ever put to use in today's games, but it doesn't hurt anything in this case!

Most online store accept Money Orders, some accept personal checks, some accept PayPal.

I purchased hundreds of dollars worth of gear through Newegg using Money Orders.  I didn't have any credit card because I was trying to build up my savings, and closed all of my accounts.  It took awhile to start credit back up after I'd accomplished my basic savings goals.

If you want to go main stream an ATI Radeon 5770 would be a good start.
