This really sounds like a D2D issue - Bioware can not control what is on D2D's homepage.

no they can't control, but they can reprimand! if this is happening to 2 or 3 people on this forum, imagine in all of north america!? this is bad PR, for D2D but for bioware also! this directly affects them, it is their game! maybe EA since they publish it, but you know what i mean.

Publishers do sanction Retailers that break the rules (such as early releases) .. You might want to submit a complaint to EA - maybe through their online customer support if you want immediate satisfaction... or the cell phone.

Just got an answer from Direct-to-Drive on release time for Awakening expansion from their site:



Hi there!









The game is set to be released at 10 AM PST / Noon EST today. Please check your account page for updates at that time.





So less than 15 minutes from now..Pacific time.

let me say this: if it does not go download now! at 1 EST (10 PST) i will LOSE MY ****

And..you folks need to understand how this works..hehe of course it is going to say pre-order..until the release time comes. Once it does..that button changes to "download" and if you click on it..it gives you your game key.



It is now 9:46 am...pacific, not long now.

Download now!! Is part of their advertising....lol

Once you have bought it..you go to your ACCOUNT..check the download button for Awakening INSIDE your account.    Once its ready to release, that button stops saying preorder..and says "download".   You press that button it gives you your game key and you can download from the page that pops up ..with the key.

There are most likely hundreds of people if not thousands all hitting that server at the same time. If they have mirrors, look for the one in Iceland
