Is the game supposed to look this blurry?

Didn't think much of it until I started looking at some other screenshots and the game seems to look sharper... could just be me though.
Graphically everything is maxed. Here are my specs:
Intel Core 2 Duo E7300 @ 2.66ghz
4gb DDR2 Ram
ATI Radeon HIS 4800HD 512mb
60gb of 200gb hard disk space free
Windows XP
Everything is updated to latest.

Set up a game profile from the catalyst settings and start at basic, adding more processing untill it looks like that to find out what it could be.

I don't know if it's me but I went from 0 to x4 and it seemed to while not only make things look smoother (as per usual) but seemed to make some distant effects blur harder (not just depth of field blurring).. I haven't recently changed it back.. but I might now and see how it looks afterward

If an uninstall/reinstall doesn't fix it I'll just keep playing. It's not unbearable, but if there's ever a good idea of how to get it looking sharper (like it should) then I'll give it a shot!

I played with all the ingame settings and did various combinations, it always had the blur. Thanks for the advice though!

I'm not suggesting that anything in game is causing it. I suggest that it's your catalyst settings, be it fort this game or globally.

Sorry, I should have specified. I was referring to SyntheticC's post. My second post was directed towards yours.
EDIT: Reinstall is complete, DLC is downloading, will post back after I've gotten a chance to load my game up and toy around a bit (if necessary).

Yeah, that looks a lot better. I forced my card to control the AA settings and it worked out for me.

it can go upto what like 24x on an ATI card by using different rendoring methods, but you would NEED 2 or more high end GPUs if the game even supports it. Also if your using ATI try disabling Temporal anti aliasing (helps for things like grass and fences etc) or if Nivida I think its called Transparent Anti Aliasing, both of these options do AA based on existing alpha maps and can cause extreme blur if the game is not setup right for it.
I do not know if there is a limit on how many GPUs the game supports, but I know that it supports at least two according to the log file the game created on my machine. It also identifies the number of CPU cores. I included part of the file below.
Platform Multi-core system detected. Using multi-threaded renderer.
Platform 8 core(s) detected, 7 worker thread(s) created.
General Initialize - Verify Platform capabilities
General Initialize - Resource Manager
General Initialize - World Database
General Initialize - Physics

Graphics Adapter is 'ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2 '
Graphics Detected 2 ATI GPU(s) present.
