Awakening will be shipped with the LATEST UP TO DATE PATCH FOR THE TITLE, and a forum post said dexterity is included in that.

Did some digging and found this:

I've put this into my last couple of community reports to the dev team (as well as the corrupted saves bug). Soon, we will be deciding on the contents of the next title update, so we should be able to let you know at least when/if it will be fixed.
That was about a month ago, from the Dexterity Bug -- Will it get XBOX 360 support.
I'm not really seeing "when/if" as a promise to fix it.

I am just pissed I wasted 40$ dollars!
You didn't waste 40 dollars. Just build a Cunning Rogue instead. Problem solved.

You have no one to blame but yourself. Have no idea why you would assume that they would fix this. Did anyone even say that Awakenign would have imporatant bug fixes for the 360?
Yes, in http://social.biowar...dex/1626900 Mr. Priestly says that Awakening will include the 1.03 patch as well as all previous patches, 1.02 specifically being the one we want.

Note: The likely scenario is that he was referring to the PC version. They just grouped the 360 and PC together in the topic title because the patch was the exact same. Take notice that the ORIGINAL post didn't say anything about it including previous patches. This was a human error/oversight on Priestly's part.

2.7 – Have fixes (like balance, bugs, etc) from Dragon Age: Origins been included in Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening? (Back to top)
Awakening will come with the latest executable patch / title update for Dragon Age: Origins.

Note: I am in no way defending Bioware. I want this fixed. I just think that it is naive to think that Awakening will include it.

where as pc is executable patches.
So the FAQ was correct..
It's just the patch we got for consoles, 1.03 is missing dexterity fix and such.

And yet your here telling us that Awakening does not include the 1.02 patch fixes for consloes. Which would confirm that the 1.02 fixes were never meant to be apart of 1.03 for consoles. And when Bioware said they were included they were only talking about the PC version, which most people assumed they were talking about in the first place.

It comes down to Bioware mislabeling their patch versions for the 360. Technically this is like Patch 1.03 CONSOLE version. Patch 1.02 and maybe even 1.01 for the Console is some achievement/trophy fixes or something of the such. Not the stuff that the PC got.
So, in a way, it's a truthful statement. We got the 1.01 and 1.02 CONSOLE patches not the PC patches. They are NOT the same.

If you look at the problems people have on the console and the patch notes to the PC, you will find many similarities. So many of the problems is multi but got fixed right away for the PC.

besides the dex bug as has been mention many many MANY times only causes damage to be divided up between dex and strength, causing a small decrease in damage potential, not a real issue, for melee rogues as back stabs do more damage (especually with exploit weakness ) but a big issue for ranged weapons.
all and all I say the fix is need more for ranged weapons the anything else :/

Answer dont play consoles or dont make ****ty Dex based melee characters. Str and Cunning Warriors/Rogues are FAR FAR superior then Dex ones. Particularly the Cunning/Rogue/Assassin/Bard setup.

That's true, but that's not the point. I want more than one possible build for a rogue, I want a good ranged character not some gimp with a bow that does sh*t damage. They could have very easily included the previous patches the pc got in 1.03 but instead all they did was add the stuff for the expansion so they could take more of our money and do nothing to fix this game. Not that they care, but they are losing a lot of fans over this game and total lack of support or even communication. Very sad....
