I'm not sure what the "bug" is, but it doesn't seem too bad.

You've spent 140 hours playing a game that was just releaed today? Or are you talking about the original? Yes you can get around the dex bug with lethality and points in cunning, but w/e. As for the pile of other issues with Awakenings, they are mostly import issues. Aside from the lack of WK gear (which was known), there are people losing stats bonuses and even a number of their talents/spells.
Yeah, I meant Origins. We don't even have it here in the UK yet, have to wait till friday. I hadn't heard about those bugs, thanks for telling me. Those things sound annoying, but wouldn't lost talents or spells be regainable through those respec tomes?
Nah from what I hear, it is the respec tomes CAUSING the loss of skill points. Like for example you get a bonus point when you do certain things in Origins and those points are lost when you respec.

2.7 – Have fixes (like balance, bugs, etc) from Dragon Age: Origins been included in Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening? (Back to top)
Awakening will come with the latest executable patch / title update for Dragon Age: Origins.
Came with the latest patches for the x-box, which doesn't include 1.02.
They can't give you a patch with the game if the patch hasn't been coded for your platform yet.
Chill pill. Take one.

Sword/Dagger takes its states from Strength
Mace/Dagger is Strength
Axe/Dagger is Strength
Only if you go Dagger/Dagger does the dex bug affect you.

Look at it this way...if you were really up to date on your patches, Dex would be fixed but Stealing would be broken.
Aint that some ****, lmao. Truly funny thing is that the stealing has always been broken for us.
Worst part about it is that if we did get the dex bug patched it would likely cause some other problem..... you would be unable to equip daggers or something sweet like that .

It is not a privelege to play this game. The original poster is a consumer, and she paid to play Awakening. In fact, she paid a lot more than expansions typically are priced to play this game.
If anything, we should all be outraged at this example of sheer laziness. Just because this didn't impact your own particular character is irrelevant. If it had, I bet you would act just in the way the topic creator has--with anger and disappointment.

The main reason I want dexterity to work is simply because it's been way too long of waiting, imagine if an MMO like World of Warcraft had one of its stats not work lol.. think of how retarded it would be if Blizzard never fixed a broken stat for 4 months. I know this analagy is kinda stupid, but it's kind of the same principle, it's not just another "oh my dagger model is incorrect" or "my guy walks funny bug", it's a MAIN STAT. Something like that should not be broken from day one, for over 4 months now.

Ya it is a pain but a lot of this "expansion" (over priced Wardens keep 2.0) is a frank pain in the ass. They'll fix it but till then buy a tome and when they fix dex and cunning breaks buy another!
