They've finally defeated my optimism with this last fiasco. Sounds like Awakenings is just as screwed. Hopefully enough people **** about it that they do something.

I agree totally, I've been hoping for so long to have this game fixed but all I can see is them working to get more of our money. I mean when they can't even give us patches from 3+ months ago it really says something about the complete lack of interest in helping the people who bought this game and dlc.
I was even optomistic when I saw the update today when I put the game in to check but sadly there seems to be no fixes just whatever is needed to play the expansion, That really did it for me. I still like playing this game but it's been extremely disappointing to see such lack of support I mean they don't even respond to anything we ask all they do is push the new expansions/dlc. Shame on you EA/Bioware, I though you were better than this...

Fixed that for ya. I don't think ANYBODY thinks EA is above anything, this is the company that sells you one-time use cheat codes for a single play in Madden. They're all about having our money.
I'm just baffled how a game like Mass Effect 2, can complexly carry over all this data from Mass Effect 1 and NOT be a glitched pile of crap, but somehow Dragon Age is just beyond repair on the 360. I realize one was ported, but is it THAT vast of a difference? Maybe I'll buy Dragon Age on Steam or something for like 10 dollars during some big blowout sale some day.
Note: And companies wonder why people pirate their games on the PC. It's because they don't show enough support for the people who purchase the titles.

Due to good experiences with their games in the past (everything up to and including Mass Effect) I faithfully purchased Dragon Age as well as ME2 as soon as they came out.
The massive overhaul in ME2 is awesome for some, not so awesome for others. I was hoping for it to be more like ME1 with inventory and such but ok, it's still a good game just weak on customization. The bugs and lack of communications with Dragon Age has me very frustrated though. Mostly because I see the devs posting in threads and they always just ignore my plea for any answers and post around me. Being ignored is really not ok when other questions are being answered, it's not like I word things disrespectfully.
Having said all that, I wont be getting Awakening or any other "pay" Bioware stuff until we get some XBOX support. $40 may not make much difference to them but for me thats another entire game I could buy. Even the games that are priced at $60, they go on sale for about $40 pretty often if you search around.
Anyway, color me dissapointed. I thought Bioware would do better than this.

If I do end up buying Awakenig it will be a used copy. Bioware will no longer be getting money for their 360 games from me.

It's a shame to know about all this things, i never expected that bioware would treat us like that, anyway, i just bought the game a week ago, and the only thing i'm going to download from them, is my free dlc. nothing more.

It's a shame to know about all this things.
I was in Orzammar and I gave a gem to Shale and noticed I didn't get +10 and +5, I check the Dragon Age wikia about glitches and my heart SANK. Primarily because of the save corruption glitch and the storyline related glitches.
I feel like such a fool for buying the fancy Collector's Edition for the 360 now.

Sorry to hear that... I know I took the ****** out of you for this optimism of yours, but really, it's a jolly poor show from BioWare

I'm only optimistic enough to hope that the thing that broke the camel's back for me will spark some actual effort on Bioware's part to fix the problem. Somebody posted a topic here stating that the story glitches and errors that occur in Origins' ending transfer to Awakening as cold hard fact. I can overlook dex bugs and even save corruption, but once the only good thing about Dragon Age (the story) starts getting ruined, I just can't see myself enjoying the game with the decision making and story being goofed up due to stupid bugs.

I would totally rate DA:O a 9/10 if not for the bugs and especially the lack of support. I give it a 5 now...
Not buying Awakenings, not for a long time. Patch it all, fix it all, or forget a customer for the next game.

I designed a patch for DA:O for the 360 on my own time and when I asked Bioware how I could summit it to them so everyone could get it, I was told not to bother. So to everyone that doesn't have a modded Xbox360, I'm sorry Bioware doesn't want to support their product.

It boggles my mind to see a 360 port of the expansion being sold. "We ***** you over once, now please spend another 40$ on an equally broken expansion".

I shall wait until the expansion goes to the bargain bin. And since this usually happens to games that get bad reports.... I expect to see it there by next month at the latest.

I was one of those that were pretty hyped up about awakening but that is no longer the case. I was suckered once, but I would be a fool to let myself be suckered twice. DA is such a great game to me. It's such a shame that it has been now tarnished because of it's companie's out right ignoring the customer and treating us like we console owners are second class citizens. Now they are throwing bones at us... crappy bones I might add.

I really don't understand how a company could have so little support. When I had a problem with Gears of War EPIC bent over backwards trying to help me. (Which they did.)

Recent patch for DA:O introduced more bug into my game. Before it I was VERY lucky to get just one-two bugs in all this time. Now they pop-up every minute and they get more and more scary, Im not scared for the game, but an xbox itself, because BW deffinetly ****ed something up in the code, not just simple glitch.

funny how the Devs avoid all threads about the 360 bugs, not to mention the dex bug
Why shouldn't they? you know how it goes: "if you don't know there is a problem, then it does not exists"
