So, when will it release in Europe?!

The timer went down since US-release..
Some steam releases are around midnight, origins was even before midnight for me, some are around 10, some noon-ish.
Have no real clue when Awakenings will be released.

Am in Paris-time-zone btw.

Getting a bit sick of restarting steam every 10 min or so. So an answer will be greatly appreciated, even a vague indication.

It's 2am GMT here and no luck. Mind you, I don't think BioShock 2 unlocked until about 8-9am.

I preordered DA:A on steam, and I had steam running over the past few days this week. I think steam stealth-downloaded my game because I just turned on my computer yesterday afternoon, and my game was magically 100% downloaded and ready to play. Before I couldn't even see the expansion on my games list.

I am from the netherlands. Guess i go to sleep in a bit and just see if i can play when i wake up.
Took the whole week off from work, so will have plenty of time to finish it anyway..

Edit: The store says its released, but not according to my games list,wtf..

Seriously, I don't see the point of releasing Awakening later for European users, apart from avoiding saturation of Steam servers.

That's what I thought, but what he said was that it can be downloaded now but that the access code for it wont be sent until tomorrow. Sounded a bit strange to me so I told him to leave it for now.

Sometimes I think I should download my games from pirate sites instead of paying for them. You don't get the stupid "european release lag", or the "still unavailable on Steam" message...



If gaming companies really wanted to encourage customers, they would just release their games without playing hard to get ^^

It depends where it's being updated from, if its based in the US then I wouldn't expect it for some hours.

Shouldn't be based on the US time, when it's the european release. And STEAM is as well a system where they can set release dates.

If they really base it upon the US time, we can expect it to be released in the later afternoon. Allthough, I was in a shop before, and they sell DA: Origins Awakening already, so the release date of the 18th is correct.

Good point, but bare in mind people need to get up and get to work lol So say if its based in UK, then its only just after 8, so I'd sit tight a couple of hours.

I suppose if we go by 10am as it was in the us, if it is uk time we got 1:30 left, if they take US time... 8:30 ;D
