I couldn't find the awnsers in the wiki. Either it's very well hidden or I missed it. But I'm looking to add a small little nothing area to my game where you can get weapons. But if I create a new area and export it to my game, then the begining of a new game starts out in THAT area. And I do not want it to, obviously. What are the steps(in order) to make this mod possible?

I would like to know this aswell. It seems liek you would have to create a route on the world map and make a location to transit to that waypoint.

are you talking about adding an area to the single player campaign, or a "warm up room" to your own module?

if the latter, it's a simple matter of just making a spare room, and putting a waypoint in that room (plus a usable chest full of crap), and setting that waypoint as the module's starting waypoint.

Then just add a door to the room that transitions to the "normal" start area.

If you're trying to do it to the single player campaign, i dunno what to say. supposedly you can just open your save file in the toolset and add inventory to your toon directly. at that point you could just open up the last levels in the game and read the dialog trees, though.

I would just like to create a new area you can travel to from the map, add some monsters, and have them drop the special items. I'll take a look at the maps tutorial though.
