Well, thanks for clarifying the war dog availability for me. I had assumed that the war dog was only for the Human Noble (kind of like the animal companion for rangers and druids). I would also assume that the war dog will be the most loyal of all the companions. It will be good to know that one companion won't abandon or turn on you regardless of your behavior.
Hi All: Question about the War Dog?

That and if you watch the IGN insider stuff it shows the human noble interacting and its like "Excited Barking" or "Sad whineing" as the text for subtitles. Its adorable to see him bound around all excited on the screen.Dennis Carpenter wrote...
My understanding is the war dogs opinions are shown in various actions like urinating on a particular entity and such. Actions do speak louder than words :-)
I was happy with the interaction between them, dog will definitely have a place in my first party, thought it was adorable too

And before anybody asks, no, you can't romance it.
At least, I'm assuming not.
Geeze, I HOPE not.

But is the dog as good as any other human companion?

I hear Rabbit has more personality than Alistair and Sten with no catgirls put together.Kealvis1 wrote...

I was noticing that, in the character creator, right next to the options for male and female, really faint and greyed out, they also have the option for eunuch.rjabber wrote...

Try romancing that war dog, and I really don't think it's going to be your eyes you're going to be worrying about.
