At this point, Bioware is so high on my awesome list, I really don't care what 02/01/2011 is exactly. My guess is another expansion, but a good 60+ hour sequel, prequel, or a spin-off would also be pretty cool. I just hope there is more DLC or something between now and then.

hi, spore was a good game. the only problem was that it was overhyped and DRM

secondly  DAO2 could have been in development before DAO was released ( a studio doesn't just focus on ONE project)

finaly the whole it's obvious is well annoying , it's not obvious we don't know what they are doing and it is unlikely to dissappoint everybody remember your  opinion does it equal fact cause it is an opinion.

while it may look like a sequel, i think it's something else. usually people only give release windows a year before the time, not release dates. so unless they are beta testing Dragon Age 2 already, i'm hardly convinced that it's gonna be a sequel.

I hope it's just nothing, if there are gonna be expansions i want them sooner. and if it's a new game i want it later.

Unfortunately Bioware is already showing all the signs of EA Corruption, DA 2 seems its going to be rushed and lacking content just like the DLCs and Expansion.

Bioware needs EA or swtor will fail.. if I have to eat some rushed content to see swtor done right I have no problem with it. I doubt even EA would be stupid enough to rush swtor, the potential money to made just isnt worth it.

Everyone complaining about DA 2 being "rushed" forgets that DA:O was supposed to ship in March '09, but was delayed for the console ports. I would suspect that initial work on DA 2 probably started around that time. This would also explain the "fast" turnaround for the Awakenings expansion.
