So 02.01.2011 is not " a cool date for fans of Dragon Age" it's a sad reminder whats happens when quarterly profits decides the launch schedule. 02.01.2011 is the date we will get the next DA game, whenever the game is ready or not.....

It's all about the money.

My guess is that it's the day when Bioware releases date when it's going to release Dragon Age 2 Like nVidia did with GTX470 and GTX480 couple of weeks ago.

EA made it clear in the business call(s) to investors that there will be more Dragon Age (which, to me, only can be a good thing ). They did so buy saying something about a dragon age title.



This could, in fact, be anything from a) a new expansion a new game, c) a GOTY of the game or even perhaps d) a (big) DLC for the game.

I'm not gonna lie... I would totally buy a reskin of Dark Messiah set in the Dragon Age world.

I don't know why fanboys rabidly defend mediocrity and companies. It's a freaking company for christsake. They want money.

Why do people fan, rage and obsess over video game companies? I could care less about developers and some faceless corporation. If the game is good, it's good. If it isn't, it isn't.

I make no expectations based on the reputation of a company.

All they announced was a new Dragon Age title, not necessarily a direct sequel.  Could be a spin off or another expansion pack.

Well, apparently we may be able to get our hands on a small piece of the game prior to the 2/01/11 release, for a nominal fee of course. Or perhaps thats just the date the "demo" will drop? Maybe it's the date of the "prequel"?
