After about 4 hours of screwing with my computer, here is my story. it lost all my dlc about a year ago, i contacted EA, they couldnt figure it out and refunded my money since Origin has a policy that steam doesnt (they allow refunds, and i will be purchasing all ea games through origins becase of this, and because so few work properly)
They left the game on my account though so having beat all my steam games I thought i'd try one more time. After a lengthy install all my dlc was still unauthorized, I found out that their is a program that has to be running in order for dao to realize what account your using, and this program is usually found by right clicking computer, click on manage, services and applications, services, then find dragon age on the list. for me and a lot of other people it wasnt on the list like it was supossed to be.
So i went to where i installed the game, found a folder called _Installer, and then ran DAUservicesetup which detected the service was not installed and installed it, *most people said to use DAOUpdateaddinsxml but this came back with an error of cant write to destination, but the dauservicesetup and turning it on afterwords through the aformentioned method worked for me. You have to turn it on every time (work around for this in the faq but i havent tested it yet)

Just got back into my Dragon Age Ultimate Editon and I am noticing as well that I can not seem to find Awaking in my game when I go to new game or under other campaigns it isnt there. I got my Game threw Origin and went threw ages ago the whole DLC being missing when I first got it and while my DLC works now and since, now that I came back Awaking isnt there.
Edit:
DO NOT TRY THE ABOVE POST!
I tried it to make my Awaking show up and instead it rebroke my fixed DLC content. I Installed 1.05 which fixed the DLC again but I still have no Access to Awaking. It doesnt even show up in the Credits....
I paided for full Access to Orgins, Awaking and all the DLC... I just want my Awaking which I paided for in my UE

This is a Gamer to Gamer self-help forum, as described at the top. If you want to complain, you contact EA Help, not your fellow game players. Otherwise, the offseason has arrived. Nearly everyone is gone. Try a better search:

Not complaining, I like other am posting to get help with this issue that seems to be a constant issue that occurs, I warned that one solution suggestion didn't work, and stated my wish to get this to work is all. If you don't have a solution to this that is solid and repeatable and provable as a fix don't bother me please.
Now I heard some people from the Solution Roundup FAQ say uninstalling and reinstalling works but then I also see people in those very same pages saying that there awakening is still missing. Can any one provide there own experince one way or another about this fix to this issue and if it didnt work what if anything did?

I have done multiple full un-/re-installs.
I've done it with the original, retail-disc versions of DA:O and DA:A.
I've done it with the in-game downloads of the DLC.
I've done it with the stand-alone downloads from the "Player Entitlements" page.
I've done it with the UE installing over an existing install.
I've done it completely "clean" (my currently running version.)
The "Keep my Characters & Saves" option works well, but I usually made a backup of the entire "\\Bioware\\Dragon Age..." folder first, just to be on the safe side.
Just be sure to have BOTH of the two different CD-keys (Origins and Awakenings) handy when you start.
