After hearing from several sources that Edge of Reality was doing the Xbox patches I decided to email them directly.  I received a response very quickly and from none other then Binu Philip, President of Edge of Reality.
Here is the email I sent and the response.  Only personal info has been edited out.

My apologies if this is not the correct address to send this too but it
was all I could find.

First off kudos on porting the Dragon Age game over to Xbox.  Ports are
notoriously difficult but I played through the whole game without even knowing
it wasn't designed for the Xbox from the ground up.

My question is in regards to patches for the Xbox.  I have been unable to
get any info from EA or Bioware directly and on the official forums there has
been some speculation that perhaps you guys were porting the PC patches to Xbox
as well.

I understand that between Microsoft redtape and testing issues any update would
take a lot of work and time so I am not asking WHEN an update is forthcoming.

I would just like to confirm that Edge of Reality is handling the Xbox patches
and IF the Xbox will be getting the latest PC patch that deals with issues like
the Dex bug.

Thank you

I’m so glad that you enjoyed Dragon
Age: Origins! We were very happy to work on the game. I am personally aware of
the bug you are talking about and also aware that it is mentioned on the Dragon
Age forums. Unfortunately, I can’t publicly comment on whether or not we
are working on a patch. All those decisions are made by BioWare. I would
suggest that you post to the DA forums, I know the BioWare guys read them and
do their best to take care of customers.

Best wishes,

Binu

Well... it's good to know that they know these issues exist. From what it sounds like, the ball is in Bioware's court. Chances are, they have to pay Edge of Reality money to make the patch for the 360/PS3, and that's what the hang up is.

It's also probably why they are patching all the DLC and Awakening which seems to have all been done in-house.

More than Bioware ever gave us.

Well I'll check back every week or so but I'm not spending another cent until Bioware does their job and fixes the dex bug.

How did you.... Wha did they? He did that? Well, nice work!

Maybe I wasn't nice enough: (from one month ago)

Edge of Reality:
I contacted your company via telephone this afternoon requesting an email address to direct my concerns as to the quality of your company's Playstation 3 version of BioWare's Dragon Age: Origins.
Due to a lack of appropriate technical support/ communication provided by both the official Electronic Arts support Web page and BioWare's official community support pages I turn to your company.
I purchased Dragon Age: Origins upon release in November. I have been deeply dissatisfied with the technical performance of this title on my PS3. Many others have encountered similar issues and experienced the same level of dissatisfaction with their copy, not only on the Ps3, but on the Xbox-360 as well. My main issue is with the sub-standard frame rate at which this game operates, causing a very uneven and choppy visual experience when playing Dragon Age: Origins on the PS3. Other issues involving both game play and technical performance are persistent in the game, as evidenced by the many experiences shared by users on the BioWare Dragon Age: Origins community web site.
I have sought redress from both EA and BioWare via their official websites, and neither company has provided satisfactory explanation of these issues, or a timetable for fixes or patches. Perhaps your company could provide some assurance as to either the timetable to expect a fix patch, or some explanation as to why your product does not perform to a satisfactory level on the platform for which it was hand crafted for.

Thank You,

I even started a thread. http://social.biowar...8/index/1166343

Needless to say, nobody got back to me. The secretary I spoke to gave me the email address for their job applicants to send her my concerns. She said she'd be forwarding it through the proper channels. Oh well...

Good job mate!

Nice to hear that Edge Of Reality know about the issues. And kudos to you Drayvenn, that actually do something about this instead of raging.

This sounds like the afore mentioned red tape. Bioware needs to possibly give them the go ahead for a official patch. Please Bioware if you are reading this would you find it in the kindness of your heart to please fill us in on some information? We just want to know if your planing to 'Officialy" patch the console versions of the game or plans there of or not. We are sitting here in teh dark with no word on if a real bug fix patch will ever be coming.

I wonder why they never got back to you.  It was literally a matter of hours before they responded to me.
The email address I used was info@edgeofreality.com
