First of all, let me apologize because I've never posted here before (although I've read plenty!) and this is going to sound ridiculous.

During a cutscene at around two hours into Awakening, I noticed that my imported character now has red writing across her forehead. Her hair obscures part of it, but from what I can tell it looks like it says something like "Tattoo got/not us." At first I found it kind of funny, but it is really annoying during scenes that show my character's face.  

I hesitated to even post this because it sounds so silly, but I am wondering if anyone else experienced anything similar? I'm playing a hnf on Xbox 360, and my character didn't have any tattoos prior to import.

I'm also annoyed with the tattoo. Mine says " ...something...something...DO NOT USE!!" i can't make out the part before "DO NOT USE!!"

Scratch my last post. My tattoo says "LEGACY TATTOO ASSET, DO NOT USE!!!" Maybe everyone got drunk after killing the Archdemon and somebody wrote it on his head while he was passed out. I still want it off of my forehead!!

I have seen people complaining about this on several forums now but never seen a picture since it seems to be the 360 version only.

I imported my mage, and she doesn't have the "tattoo" issue. What about you guys? Is this perhaps only showing up on certain types of characters? As I said earlier, the one that has the problem is a female human noble, with no tattoos.

I imported a human male noble, no previous tats and I got the "Legacy do not use" wrting on my forehead as well. Annoying but seems harmless would be nice to have it gone though (or change it to something funny).

I imported a human mage female and got the tattoo on her forehead. "legacy tattoo asset...do not use!!" It's REALLY annoying. I'm about to try to re-import my character again to see if I can get it to go away...



I'm playing the PC version by the way on a Win 7 machine. No other issues.



Did anyone find a way around this yet??

Those drunk people are quite adept at recreating arial font.

The item in question is Noble Clothing, looted while completing the quest Out of Control. It worked fine on my hnf warden though.

It's funny at first, but the laughter wears off after about a minute when you realize you're going to have to look at this for the rest of the game. It's really not cool...

That is how I felt about it, too. I just kept hoping that it would go away, but it never did. Has anyone figured out a way to get rid of it yet?
