Nope, imported character is near completely naked. Apparently it's related to the "FU if you use DLC armor/gear" issue.

RTO items transferred for me, and the Helm of Honneleth from SP, but nothing from WK transferred.

Lmao becareful where you do the restat thing. You'll end up buck naked there too. I accidently did that and was outside in the middle of a crowd n my poor chick was naked as the day she was born lmao

Are you able to import multiple times? I would think if this was common there would be more uproar on the boards, no?

Hmmmm. Thought it was DLC that was just screwing people; dragon armor from wade's isn't importing for me either.

Lost my mage's staff that way, and had to wait a while to find another. What really pisses me off is him going up & punching the darkspawn after a spell fires. Come on, guy. You are not Muhammad Ali.



Fortunately I wasn't in tighty whities for long, as I had another robe in my backpack. Just wish I had another staff there.

Same here.

I hopped onto the forum to ask if I'm supposed to be nekked. 

This is on Xbox, an Imported character. No mods.

Just a sword, a helmet, two pairs of gloves, and my diaper....

Thanks for the heads up about the PC mod! This sounds like another pretty bad oversight on Bioware's part like the drinking through your helmet thing if you wear any of the full body armor in ME2. You would think they would have you start with some alternate armor and equipment if the game detects you are transferring a character over with incompatible DLC equipment from the first game. Sucks for people who have the console version, maybe they will patch this eventually.

Hmmm thats weird cause I still got my dragon armour.  I got both sets, drakeskin n dragonskin armour

I imported with my Wade's Dragonplate armor set just fine.  I didn't have Starfang (nor any suitable 2-hander to replace it), but I at least had my armor and some make-shift weapons.

That is odd, I got my user generated gear and the DLC gear I was using to transfer over, pretty sure. Will double check on the DLC stuff, but UGC from dragonage nexus (e.g. Duncan's armor my char inhereted from him thanks to the mod) carried over.

Modders shouldn't have to fix what the developers completely failed to account for. Good that the mod exists, but this is still complete ****. I mean, really... if modders could create a fix that lets you transfer your stuff from the Origins expansions or side quests THIS quickly, then there's no excuse for the devs themselves to have not bothered with it in the first place. Or you'd think they'd at least set it up to where you default to a new set of GW armor designed for Awakenings. I mean, really... when people were joking that they were going to end up wandering Ferelden naked with Oghren, I didn't think the devs would TRULY overlook such an obvious issue.

Ah, so it's a bug?  Some people's stuff is transferring and others' aren't?  That's weird.  lol

Well according to the FAQ, we were supposed to be boned if we used the DLC gear since they intentionally didn't bother with support in the Expansion. Sooooo, it looks like I might be taking this game back and warning my friends against buying it since they use the DLC stuff.



I will give my congrats to the PC community since they were able to do in four goddamn hours what a professional developer team couldn't work out for the gaming community in six months. Now I will go try and calm my boiling consoletard blood.

I went back into DA:O and there was a mandatory update. Afterward, I was able to load my "completed" game in the "Epilogue", and DA:O let me run back to camp, and the party stash box, etc. I was able to grab, equip everything I wanted (and could carry). Was also able to unequip high-value stuff from the other partymembers.

I then re-imported the same character into Awakening, and he came with all the stuff. Don't know what it did to my original import, but I don't care. I'm now dishing out painful death to all the Darkspawne scum. Just like the good ol' days!

Lmfao no I have a mod that removes all of that so when I said I was buck naked I meant I was buck naked.

Read the FAQ. Only RtO DLC was suppose to transfer. This is not a glitch. It was designed that way for whatever idiot reason the devs chose. Clearly it wasn't all that difficult to do since the mod community managed to accomplish it in a few hours.

Edit: That means nothing from Honneleath, Cadash Thaig, or Warden's Keep.
