Read the FAQ. Only RtO DLC was suppose to
transfer. This is not a glitch. It was designed
that way for whatever idiot reason the devs
chose. Clearly it wasn't all that difficult to do
since the mod community managed to
accomplish it in a few hours.
Crude hack just so people could have their pretty textures and item properties, since that's all the armors and weapons from the DLC's amount to. I lost my custom Tevinter Warden armor set and weapons, but had a spare robe and Duncan's sword, so Elissa Cousland didn't have to resort to fists (not that she does have other means of dealing with Darkspawn) in her cute little birthday suit.

So what exactly was the point in importing your character again?? What a joke.

You keep your gold and any NON-DLC gears, but yeah it sucks anyway. Would you see a major game company like Blizzard and WOW say stuff like in the Upcomming expansion you'll start naked, we did'nt feel like making old gear carry over.... a riot would follow...
Like someone else said, how come they can carry over a whole game worth of decision into a sequal (Mass Effect 1 -> 2) but cant for some same DLC's....

Hey before I imported my character I made sure I had plenty of healing n lyrium potions to take with me oh and arrows too lol. Saves having to buy them in Awakenings n less money I have too spend, use my money for something more important lol
Edit: As far as my DLC stuff I never used any of the stuff, everyone else did. I was kinda hoping that at least the Warden Commander armour would of, considering I was becoming warden commander but alas, no such luck. Oh well, I never wore it anyways lol

Just so I know...should I not wear any DLC stuff while I transfer one of my guys over? I have Cailan's armor on one and Warden Commander's armor on the second. Both using Starfang and Maric's sword...am I SOL?

Yes, you are SOL. Sell your really cool DLC and get cash for it at least. You get to keep your money.

For the one with the Warden Commander Armor, yes; Calian's armor and Maric's sword will transfer just fine, since those are from the DLC that is known to be compatible.

It's not just the nakedness.
If your ported character is a 2H warrior who used the Starfang, you won't be able to use any of your abilities until you are done with the cleansing of Vigil because there are zero 2H weapons available until you can talk to the dynamic smith duo.
My level 22 2H warrior - who was quite able to solo DA:O on Hardest - became some naked chick running around auto-attacking everything >.> It's a good thing that 90+ strength makes mundane 1H swords hit for 90+ damage...

I had this problem too. Arrived wearing the Helm of Honneleath and nothing else. Am on a PC, so I'll try the suggested patch. Would like to know who decided having your player being attacked in their underwear wasn't a problem...

For me, I had an item from Shale's quest in my pack that transferred (Dead Thaig Shanker). I had installed the 1.03 patch before my last Origins playthrough so I never did get Starfang. I think the 1.03 patch probably deleted the star ore cutscene.
A couple of suggestions: Take out all the runes out of your weapons and bring them with you. Bring potions, poisons, and money. And don't forget your toothbrush!
