Okay, let me clarify. I would like the option to choose better accuracy over Adrenaline Rush during the whole choosing what you're play style/skill would be.

Of course more accurate hits = greater dmg, its not difficult math. But with the ability of Adrenaline Rush, we already have a dmg boost. I am NOT asking for both, I am saying I would choose one over the other. I feel more satisfied seeing my bullets hit its target than seeing dmg spikes from an ability like Adrenaline Rush.

I kind of like the talk between the soldiers in front of the citadel information desk. Where they basically say to make sure each shot counts. That is my type of play style that was removed from ME2 but present in ME1 that I enjoyed.

If you want Adrenaline Rush, that is cool. I am saying I am willing to trade it for a boost in weapon accuracy.

Edit:  What could also be encouraged even more is what is said in the tips of the game.   Rapid Fire weapons are strong against shields, but weak against armor.  While slow strong weapons are strong against armor and weak against shields.   Just saying to make people switch weapons more it to emphisize this more during combat, especially during a soldiers combat play.
Watch a soldier nearly tear shields witht he AR, but see a serious slowdown the second you start shooting at armor.   Its not the difficult and is nearly implemented very well in the game.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say you're playing the wrong class if you're going for 100% hit rate.  Perhaps an Infiltrator with a sniper rifle is more suitable for your playstyle.  There is almost no other class that is more accurate with weapons than the Soldier.

It's not that he's going for the wrong class, he's just using the wrong weapon. If you want a 100% hit rate, use the Widow or the Viper.

But trading Adrenaline Rush for 100% accuracy (which I assume means no recoil and narrow reticule) would be a MASSIVE dps loss with every weapon except maybe the Revenant. Even with the Revenant, it would be a major dps loss at close range.

Could I be mistaken while playing soldier class and other classes that the accuracy is different? I could. But at the moment I am not convinced that the soldier class weapon accuracy is far better than any other class, they seem to similar the second you start firing.

Also, a soldier class not my play style even though they were pretty much the class I mention in ME1? Seems a little odd.

Are you claiming that you don't notice a difference in recoil while using an assault rifle with and without Adrenalien Rush?

Which weapon are you using?

really the only weapon in the game that is inaccurate enough for this to even be an issue at all is the Revenant (well and Tempest/Shruiken but soldier can't use those anyway). Every other assault rifle (especially after the accuracy upgrade) has a tiny reticle even on full auto. I mean how much more accurate can you get than a crosshair with no space inbetween the four lines (Vindi, and the rest when in cover and burst fire)

Damn caps. Okay at full auto, there is a difference, it is very present when you compare it to not only other weapons (not including sniper rifle) but to other classes. Every class has the same issue, which is understandable, but I believed that the soldier class would have been excluded out of this. I was hoping myself that the class would be above and beyond the other classes when it came to reducing recoil. Since I saw the Soldier class as weapons being part of its specialty.

Okay, as for the adrenaline rush, I gotta clarify. The accuracy is VERY good while using it and at the same time there is a very noticeable dmg boost, but does not last. What I would prefer is to build into a constant accuracy regardless of how long you are holding the button over the slow motion and dmg boost. I am saying I would choose such a build considering that I had believed that it would have been an option from the description of it in the booklet.

Edit.   I will say this.  I see Adrenaline Rush in ME2 as nothing more than a crutch.   A way to get out of a situation if you make a mistake, but a very easy to use crutch.   Near perfect accuracy would not only remove that crutch, but when firing without it you will feel the full penalty of exposing yourself.
