@Rondolf: If there is a dragon in Orzammar, then this is my moment... but I don't think there is a dragon there.
Yes, there is a dragon in Orzammar Royal Place, and it drops some decent loot... There is a puzzel to release it, and it is accessable only before a king is crowned. One reason to support Belan is to get access to the Palace ( and the dragon..) earlier....

True, but whining little Alistair will STILL blame you for driving in the knife yourself. So soon he forgets saying..." I wouldn't normally suggest killing a child, but..." . Hypocrite.

-Ageless from the Orzimmar dragon can be upgraded through the wardens keep which will add enchantment slots making it a solid 2H for Ogrhen in deep roads
-You can convince Lloyd in Redcliff to give you the tavern making you the owner which can also lead to more options of giving you more money. There is also an option to then give the tavern to Bella through some conversations with her. If you do that, during the ending epilogue the tavern is mentioned.
-When I am walking around, holding W + Tab at the same time is quite convenient, I learned this from ME
-If you start the dwarf noble, you can gain 3g from the brother and 25g from dace giving you a solid monetary start. Oh and as dwarf noble, gorim in deneram will be your #1 vendor for selling stuff. He will also give you a solid start shield, so after lothering, head to denerim to talk with him and dont forget to get your codex sash from the wonders.
-As for the best vendor, I think wardens keep is the best for selling (unless you are dwarf noble of course)?
-You can not only have a 3 way with leliana, but you can have a 4 way with her. She has to be hardened and your romance, take her and Zev to the pearl and you can open the option for all 4 of you to go back to the ship. Some good dialoague afterwards too.
-Another tactic for forcefield is once your tank is low on health, throw forcefield on him, the bad guys will still pound on him but not do any damage, and you can heal your tank back up (through spells not potions) so when forcefield expires, your tank is healed and still has aggro. rinse repeat.
My aha moment- didn't know tactics executed in order, just thought they executed as the situation called for it. Will change they way I setup my tactics.

That using the dpad in the 360 version highlights stuff. I could have blown up a lot more characters if I had known that three playthroughs ago. >:|<br />
Are you serious? I've been playing since release without knowing this!!!!!!

I only found the solution this past weekend (amid cursing Bioware o'er the DLC thing). I was killing the Arcane Warrior on the high platform too quickly and never gave him a chance to summon them.

Until I saw it in some net walkthrough, I never realized you could strip the two Tower of Ishtar goons after you kill the Ogre to keep their stuff. (actually, on my fist playthourgh I did not even realize I was losing the weapons I had loaned then!)
Since the enemy levels stack, it's not always better to level up. On that same walkthrough I read than you should not try to kill Flemeth until level 12. So the first time I killed her, at level 12, I had a changelling but not that hard battle.
On the second attempt I waits until level 16, with the same team, and I had to reload the game four times since she kept killing everyone. Those four extra levels were far more useful for her.

Apparently the main scourge of the DragonAge world is that creatures from a higher continuum of existence intrude into that reality. They possess humans (preferrably mages), who lose their free will and are totally controlled by these higher entities. They steer what they do and make all their decisions for them.
Well now... technically, what does that make us players?
Think about that for a second (and grin if you want).
We may not be from the fade, true - but for the main character, we're not in the least better than a fade demon. =P
Oh, and according to the statistics we even seem to prefer mages, too. =D
