I try to be a goody-two-shoes and decline the reward. As a result I have got nothing for return.

Darn that snake oil dealer! I didn't even persuade him into giving 2 G for resquing him the first couple of times. One thing is that you might want to temporarily sell stuff to him the first time you see them due to the inventory size, just to notice, they're gone the next time.
Methinks, he gives a discount at least compared to his prizes later in the game. I don't know, if it's related to finding out his backstory (needs coercion 2, I think).

Playing a AW now and figured out a couple things:

It takes me one playthrough to find out being mildly greedy won't have any serious consequence.

My doh! moment was discovering near the end of my 1st play-through that runes could be swapped in and out!! I had assumed, once placed, they were permanent.............
Tab key and Boghdan I knew early on, did not know about leveling in camp.... doh!

Can anybody else confirm this? I normally cast my spells by click casting on the bar rather than using the hotkeys but any time I click more than one spell it just overrides which one I'm about to cast...it doesn't queue them. To clarify....I pause the game, then select spell X. If I then select spell Y, it gets cast *instead* of spell X rather than queueing it up to be cast after spell X. Does queueing only work with hotkeys? Does it only work when not paused?

Sorry, my bad - ought to clarify. You have to un-pause the game. While the casting animation is going on for one spell, you can activate the next spell and while that spell is animating, you can click on another spell. Each spell will launch successively, one after another without pause - provided you have the mana, of course.

It took me a few play throughs before I realized I didn't have to deal with the money grubbing Chantry matron to get Sten. Boy did I feel stupid when I finally tried to just unlock the cage and it worked.

Another one for me was that you didn't have to pay for the manuals of specialisation (i.e. shadow, battlemage, legion scout etc). Just save the game, buy the manual for 12g from the vendor, it will unlock the specialisation. Reload the game to restore the 12g you spent and the specialisation remains unlocked. I lost a lot of gold before I figured this out.
Cheers,

Dang, there is mine while reading this.....
Yeah...five playthrough's later. How do you do that?
When in Camp, look at the character's stats and on the right hand page near the bottom is a "Level Up" button that is enabled if that character can be leveled up. D'oh!1

If i had known that warden commander armor didnt make it to awakening i wouldnt have installed naked mods. The erected penis of my character on the very first scen was... disturbing to say the least (at least he had something to hit the darkspawns with, cause of course, weapon didnt make it to DA:A neither).

Best post in this thread so far, hands down.
