If i had known that warden commander armor didnt make it to awakening i wouldnt have installed naked mods. The erected penis of my character on the very first scen was... disturbing to say the least (at least he had something to hit the darkspawns with, cause of course, weapon didnt make it to DA:A neither).

(SPOILER) The fact that Mhairi dies in the beginning of Awakening (had I known, I would've gone back and taken her armor and weapons, which is what I did to the other 2 recruits from the beginning of origins).

This isn't as bad as some of the howlers that you guys are listing, but mine was discovering that level 4 Coercion and lockpicking weren't needed if you have a high enough Cunning.

The fact that different types of poisons stack, or at least the damage from them does (don't know about stun chance). It's pretty humourous to see how much damage you can do when you click about 10 different poisons on your weapon. You can apply them one right after another too, it's instant to apply them.
The fact that Haste from two different mages STACKS. Moving and attacking at double speed is pretty insane.
The fact that Haste does NOT stack with Momentum (and actually cancels it out, resulting in almost no net speed buff).

Two more to add that I forgot earlier:
If you click the hold both mouse buttons, your character will move continuously while you control direction with the mouse.
Discovered the expanding quick bar completely by accident. I had the quick bar unlocked and was playing a mage character whom I Resumed after installing the patch. All of a sudden, there were all these extra slots. Had to experiment to find out how to do that for everyone else. I think this came in with the 1.03 patch?

It took me a few play throughs before I realized I didn't have to deal with the money grubbing Chantry matron to get Sten. Boy did I feel stupid when I finally tried to just unlock the cage and it worked.
D'Oh! I always have to use Leli to convince matron...
So do I....do you unlock by using a rogue???

My doh! moment was when I realized I should have bought DA:O for the computer. Because of my silly desire to support a system I had such wonderful times with before I had to wait a month longer than everyone else for RtO, I get no mods, less support, clunkier controls, long ass load times, less camera control...okay now I'm ranting so I'll stop. Even though I still totally enjoy the game, I just feel stupid that I COULD have gotten it for my shiny new computer and potentially had less frustration.
Others include leaving sten to die in Lothering.
Bringing a romanced alistair with me to kill the archdemon (seriously unexpected! I cried and then went back and made him sleep with morrigan. Ugh,,,hard choices....)
realizing that other conversations and quests open up with approval ratings.

Another one for me was that you didn't have to pay for the manuals of specialisation (i.e. shadow, battlemage, legion scout etc). Just save the game, buy the manual for 12g from the vendor, it will unlock the specialisation. Reload the game to restore the 12g you spent and the specialisation remains unlocked. I lost a lot of gold before I figured this out.
Cheers,
KothGod damn it.
