I'd love to either pay for them or get a manual download, but it seems that German gamers did indeed get ahold of these two items. I'm a big Dragon Age completionist monkey. Is there any way I can legally get ahold of them?

Yes, yes, I'm sure your sister is very good at knitting jumpers, but what I want to know is, what about us UK people? This is the first I've heard about any bow made of pearls, or whatever.

The Pearl of the Anointed is an amulet promo item that gives +2 to all stats and increases monetary gains. It's not that great.
Bregan's Shortbow, the shortbow promo item, looks to be as good as or better than any imported material from Origins. It looks fantastic.

Aren't shortbows and bunch of balls anyway? I was under the impression that longbows are better in every way. What's Bregan's bow got that makes it special?

Theoretically, shortbows will be better once the kinks are fully worked out. Bregan's Bow just has some sweet magic on it.
Besides, I'm a completist. I love having everything Dragon Age-related. Some DLC floating out there just sort of galls me.
