So, import goes smoothly...I see my felons coat, all is good. Til I appear in the world in my smallclothes!! I no longer have the 20 str required to wear anything but MAGE robes?? What happened?

Did you have a ring or jewlery that gave you 20 strength that was a part of DLC? Not all DLC imports over. It is known.

no. I put 20 points in strength naturally, no DLC. In fact, by the time I started my rogue I knew about the DLC and didn't equip anything outside of RtO. I now have 11 strength, no enough to wear even most leather I have.

So, does Awakening imports all items on inventory (less those from DLC whi9ch are not coded for it) or only what the char is wearing?
I have the party camp chest mod and all my chars have loads of items in it since there are far more cool sets and weapons than characters to use them. If I take them off the chest into my inventory, will they transfer on to Awakening? (Juggernaut, Yusaris, Chasing Great Maul, Ageless, Effort, Legion of the Dead, Chavalier ... stuff like that from release no dlc game)
My d/l will only be available on the 19th. I'm just curious. Might prepare some chars that finished the game already before that date =)

As long as all original game items are transferred, I'm ok with it. I much prefer them over the DLC items, which are too overpowered sometimes. Legion of the Dead Armor is the best anyway and that plus Chasind Great Maul, Spellward, Life Giver and Key to the City are sure to make my 2 hander a killing machine...heh

I didn't even finish Dragon Age and imported a lvl 13 character. So when I start Awakening I begin at lvl 18 with bad ass Grey Warden armor I've never seen beforeimported_beer wrote...

Fortunately my character imported over exactly as she did at the end of Origins (although no staff - it was in inventory though). Fully clothed right where she left off.

no, blood dragon plate doesn't carry over. bioware has said multiple times only RtO items carry over. geez:blush:Blackbaron15 wrote...

I'm wearing a stupid mage robe, and frankly I'm about to just say sod it and give up. I can't equip ANY of my armor, I can't equip any NEW leather armor, and can't seem to find out why I dropped to base level strength.

Try re-importing, LJ. Check the stats on DA:O save before and see if any other atributes are getting messed up.
Respec should consider all character atribute points and bonuses from books, quests, etc, from DA:O. At least the respec mod for DA:O does it. If her atributes are messed, the respec will not fix that.
Might try the respec mod on the last save of DA:O and leave the points unassigned. Check if the total points is the same in the expansion!

i have tried 3 different ways and cant figure out how to keep starfang. seems this weapon just poofs when you xfer over. still have most of my gear so idk what to do about it
