I gotta ask.

I was wondering if "The Withered" had any actual loot.

Reason being is you get zero seconds after killing him to check before the script fires and somebody shows up downstairs (in my case it was King Alistair).

So those of you who were wondering -- oh yeah, it's a fully voiced, full appearance cameo. (I understand depending on your ending you might be getting Anora or Loghain showing up instead.) Just enough time to tell me he's too busy being king to help me kill darkspawn (shocker). And then be on his merry way.

BTW: Wynne is in the game too (in Amaranthine near the Chantry) -- I guess for those who got the ending saying she was going to go help Shayle transform, well, that either finished, or she gave up, because she will say hello to you, tell you about stuff going on, but of course won't join your party.

So far, DA-Wikia unofc. lists these as the only cameos. Dunno if there are any more.

I don't remember if I was able to loot that character.

But hey having Alistair show up n if you married him sure does make a sweet conversation lmao. Makes it worth Alistair not sticking around kinda


Edit: I was surprised myself seeing Wynne there and she does send you on a little quest, it was nice seeing her make an appearance even if it was short.  Can't wait to see what other surprises might be in store lol.
