So i just got DAOA and i imported my char from DAO (last save,after "the coronation") and i lost half of my things.
Namely the blood dragon armor (which i used....) and all my jewlery items (neckleses,belts,amulets,etc,etc)...etc?!
Why?!

FFS that's not the point....i love Blood Dragon Armor,best in game imho...

I lost all my DLC items too. If I known about this I would of not had them equiped at the end. I paid for the DLC items so I sure should have them. Fix?

Sorry, as we stated in teh Awakening FAQ, most DLC items do not transfer over.

You were answered - DLC / Promotional (/preorder) items other than those in Return to Ostagar do not import into Awakening. This includes, but is not limited to, Blood Dragon Armor, Warden Commander Armor, Starfang, Dalish Promise Ring, Bergens Honor, etc.

Wait ok so Return to Ostagar items work but the others don't. Yeah Return to Ostagar, that DLC that I can't get to because I already beat the game with my main way before that came out and I can't back track the saves because the save is in Fort Drakon.



Way to drop the ball on that one. Bad start to this DLC

you can still do Return to Ostagar DLC if you've beaten the game, like I did, just load the "Epilogue" autosave and go to Ostagar :> I just did it! and tomorrow I'll receive my copy of Awakening!

Same thing here; upon import almost all of my inventory was gone. Played first level in a THONG with a dagger; unacceptable! Upon opening inventory after first battle, ALL armor and weapons missing!! An expansion shoulld import all items, including DLC content, into inventory; not good BioWare and I typically find your games well thought out. This one is a miss in my book so far and I better find some good gear SOON; now if I had started as a female nude it might have been at least "titilating"!

You fought in a thong with a dagger? Heh. Too bad there aren't any non-tentacled female darkspawn, otherwise you might have driven them to distraction!

Well i've decided to postpone playing DAOA ,untill Bioware release a official patch dealing with this (and much much more ) prob.

This sucks pretty hard. ALL of my warriors whether SnB or 2h use Starfang and all characters fullstop have non-Ostagar DLC gear of some kind. I don't care that I might find other gear...

I don't mind so much losing some armor, but dang do I have to play naked?
