My Morrigan ring disappeared.

EDIT: And in the epilogue, it was the "romance" ending but she acts like if I was her friend in camp.

Very very stupid , When you pay for items you cant just take them away becuase you think thats ok. You come out with an expansion so everyone wants to play it.... then you do something much like stealing from the people who play this game and expect people not to get upset! This should have been in BIG LETTERS ON FRONT OF YOUR WEBPAGE not in some stupid FAQ section buried

I'll have to go back to see if I had any DLC content on at the end of the game. I was not under the impression that I did. At least they could have provided a default outfit/weapon if the content could not be ported over to the expansion. This policy however makes me hesitant to purchase additional expansions especially if all the content I earn in this expansion will not be ported over to the next expansion. It doesn't make sense.

So this "dlc transfer mod" >> http://www.dragonage...file.php?id=874 works 100% ?

Losing the armor/weapons/etc. would not be so bad if it were replaced with something. I agree, having to fight nekkid with just a dagger is bad (channeling Alistar when talking about swooping Barbarians ;)

You know, I thought I was joking when I suggested that my mage was going to start the game naked with no weapons. I thought that surely BW would not do that to the fans who loved the franchise enough to spend extra money on it. Surely we would at least start with whatever the Orlesian Warden gets.

Naked, weaponless mage in the woods. Console, so no mods for me! (Clearly this was a very difficult thing to do since it took modders hours to fix it) Thank heaven her attacks don't actually require a weapon. One would think that people would comment on why the new Warden commander arrived in her new arling buck naked. That would have made the glitch almost worth it.

It's not a bad game. It is not in the same league as the original. And yes, Gaider, that is what the professional reviews are saying as well.

WELL, since I spent MONEY on the DLC, such as Bergen's Honor, it should transfer. How about a refund then?

It worked fine for me, and I was able to use Starfang at the start, rather than my bare fists.

It's utterly ridiculous that you should have to do this, though. Very poor form from BioWare, I'm really disappointed in them.

Create a new post requesting, contact EA & BioWare - do whatever you can to make sure they realize you want a refund.  It's sad that people paid for some of that content and now can't even transfer that to the expansion.  Make your voice heard.

Hey if I'm going to lose my legendary items, (oops, this reminds me of the time a pack of Darkspawn snuck past the Mabari warhounds I released and shot me up in Ostragar!) at least throw a lampshade on the fact that I misplaced about half a dozen priceless wonders and I'm showing up at work as one scantily clad black sorcerer.

It'll only add to my growing bad reputation you see. Blood mage, unbeliever, king maker, violent, radical elf who shows up without a stitch on and shouts "what?! What you act like you've never seen a naked Warden Commander before? What are you all staring at? What about you bub, do you wanna take a look at me ditties?! I thought not. My back. A ladder. You know what to do."

Seriously though, I should look into that mod. Thanks.

ditto to most of above - we should have the items we paid for!!!

if they do not import, then Bioware/EA should at least have some standard item to replace them, i.e. a piece of armor, a weapon, etc. - pretty much ruined the whole importing my characters that i love (played all the way through 4 times so far) when they are semi-naked and weaponless!!!

I can't believe I'm the first to post this... it's not unprecedented for our DLC stuff to be stolen. It happened in the base game (warning, DAO spoilers in link): http://www.penny-arc...omic/2009/12/2/

just hard to understand when they put so much effort into creating an amazing game - why be stingy and take away the items? anyway, nuffsed ... still has been a fun expansion not withstanding the disappointment of playing naked through the intro!

it's not biowares fault, they do good sh*t (re: BG series)... it's when they changed publishers that it all went to hell.. look what happened with NWN2 after they sold it off to obsidian (still don't know why on gods green earth they did that).. then again it was EAs fault anyway.. same here, bioware rock, ea blows.. on a side note, i lost probably 60% of my inventory (and 100% of my gold) when i went RtO from pre-landsmeet.. there's definitely something wrong with the dlc system (never mind it took 5 weeks to get RtO to download correctly) if equipment isn't carrying over between DLC and expansions considering all the texture files are still there.. havent even got to awakenings yet, not looking forward to losing more of my inventory >_<

I agree, I will not put all that work into it knowing that when i load the expansion I'm bumped down to nothing or close to! Also waiting for patch.

Sell those DLC items and save the game. So at least you will have some money.

LOL yeah this is kinda lame. As I'd been avoiding Awakening spoilers it came as a suprise to me! It didn't bother me at first but then I stopped and looked at it from the perspective that I'd bought the DLC for a half-hours fun and to have some decent and reasonably unique gear for the rest of the game. I also realized the character I wanted to import most was one of the first I'd made and hadn't completed Wardens Keep till after finishing the main story. So he got to use the DLC gear for all of about 5 mins game time. The more I think about it, the more ripped off I feel.

I am seriously unimpressed, Bioware.

It's ridiculous, why buy DLC if you cannot use the stuff with expansion or other DLC? You essentially are wasting your own time. I love how the apologists miss this point altogether.
