It looks like "Weapons and Shield Abilities for Rogues" does not cause any errors. However, the mod has no effect in the expansion.
@staticdoor and @TheGrumpyOne
I still have not been able to get any of these to work, which is a shame since Moonwing's armors and weapons are phenomenal. Still, I have a few other things to try before I rule them out. If you do not mind my asking, which version are the two of you playing on (Steam, Digital, Retail)? Also, what other mods do you use?
@Leon Elsa
Either rewrite the mod, or hope that it gets an update. :(

Ivory Tower & Nightfall Bloom did not work for me. This is likely due to the fact that my import character's party includes Morrigan decked out in the equipment. I will test the equipment with a new Orlesian Warden.

@Proph2525
I will test your mod, and let you know ASAP.

The armor will only import with a PC from origins, it wont transfer for a Orlesian Warden.

Just unequip what you want and leave it in your inventory, that's what i did.

Well, at least some people are enjoying Moomwing's armors and weapons. They are dead sticks for me. Updates and re-installs have solved nothing.

Any mod out there that makes helms invisible? The one I have doesn't work in Awakening. It's a shame because I'm playing a mage right now. I don't wanna wear a cone on my head :(

Oddly enough, some of my mods were hit and miss among my own characters...sheesh.

Black Templar Armor and any of Moonwing's Armors worked for some of my characters and for others they did not function (talk about strange).

The Grey Warden Runic Armor does not work for me.

The version of the Ancient Elven Boots fix that I have installed is not working with Awakening installed.  I've tried re-locating the version I have installed but it's basically the version with a useable item that creates the boots in your inventory (rather than any of the versions that add it to Bodhan's stock).

Any updates on the personal annoyance remover mod? It works for the old specs/talents but the effects of Shadow and Spirit Warrior are just plain ugly.

Seriously, Bioware has been developing DAO for 5-6 years now. Haven't they noticed that all those effects on weapons/talents are ugly and stupid? Must we rely on mods to look... umm... normal?

The 1.03 steam update completely ruined custom dlcs, they don't show up in new games even though old characters still carry the items.

Indeed Posted Image. I made a new character in DAO and the Shadow Warden Armor  won't spawn even using the old trick of save/disable mod/force load/save/enable mod. The Shade armor mod did spawn however (http://www.dragonage...file.php?id=222).

I didn't see it mentioned in the OP, but my Auto Loot mod is not working either.

I consider this along with Helm Removal and Lock Bash (Well, this one works at least) to be essential mods. Please creators of those mods come back! :)

My apologies for not testing Auto Loot. It was one I tried initially and dropped quickly because it seemed beneficial for me to pick and choose what items I looted. After I get an opportunity to see if they have updated the files for awakening I will place it on the OP.

Edit: On 27th March, Pheelon announced that he would be attempting to update the Auto Loot mod.

Special thanks to DANexus member jburrows who has suggested this method of achieving Auto Loot functionality in Awakening.

"To those who want it to work with awakening.

I have managed to get it to work with awakening.

Here is how I managed to do it.

1 First in your setting directory of dragon age usually located something like C:\\Documents and Settings\\user name\\My Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\Settings

there is a file called AddIns.xml. Make a backup copy of it.It very important because if you edit it and make a mistake you mods will messed up.Also it seems not to work with single player after the editing. However editing it back should fix it.

2 open the AddIns.xml with windows notepad.I had problems editing it with my version of Microsoft office as well as open office.

3 use edit menu use find search text is auto.

You should text look like Name="Auto Loot" ExtendedModuleUID="Single Player"

change the ExtendedModuleUID="Single Player" to ExtendedModuleUID="DAO_PRC_EP_1"

Save it.To use auto-loot in non awakening change the line back.

The auto-loot mod is one of my favorites mods.I have recently found out how to change so it works in awakening.Not sure if there problem using it in awakening so be warned."

It appears easiest to modify this file in WordPad. In my case the mod does not auto-loot corpses, but merely eliminates the need to enter the "take" window. Thus far, I have also noticed that it does not appear to loot sovereigns correctly. It is still a time-saver though.

I have been checking back here time and time again, mainly for an update on the no helmet addon. Then finally I found this thread. All credit to xatmos2 and Xrd8o, and KigenBarzhad for starting that thread, you can finally play without showing your ugly helms :)

I use and have tested this fix on Yonline2's No Helmet Hack mod, I have NOT tested this on Dan_upright's Helm Removal Mod also found on Dragon Age Nexus.

Now to sum up the fix, which The_Admiral beat me to above since it is similar in concept ;) but just to describe it specifically for the helm removal mod and also to explain how to get it working for both DAO and DAA, not just one or the other. Before you start remember you need a program that can save xml files correctly after being edited, I use the free XML Notepad.

1. Make sure you have installed the no helmet hack addon I linked above, then open Documents\\Bioware\\Dragon Age\\Settings\\AddIns.xml (or wherever it is for you)

2. find the line for No Helmet Hack. Duplicate the whole item / section / node that relates to No Helmet Hack. (you are doing this so it will still work in DAO and not just in DAA). I dont have the file here at work with me, can go into more detail when I get home but remember you must duplicate the entire no helmet hack section not just the one line.

3. in the duplicate, change the line
ExtendedModuleUID="Single Player" to ExtendedModuleUID="DAO_PRC_EP_1"

So basically you now have two identical entries in the xml file for no helmet hack. The only difference is one has a line :
ExtendedModuleUID="Single Player"

while the other has a line :
ExtendedModuleUID="DAO_PRC_EP_1"

4. Save the Addins.xml file

You should now be able to hide the helm graphic in both Origins and Awakening. Remember to just double click the 'No Helmet Rulebook' with the relevant character selected, to toggle hiding or showing the helm.

Thank you The_Admiral for this informative thread. Seems to me this fix can be applied to other addons too? Feedback and testing welcome ;)

@Kintaaro: Thank you SO much! And everyone else who worked to make this compatible with Awakening.

I've been really spoiled by this mod. :D

I'm very pleased to confirm that Admiral's suggested fix works for the No Helmet Mod as well.

Now all I need is an update to Personal Annoyance Remover and I'm good to go. :)

Has anyone gotten the Arcane Warrior Casting Fix to work with Awakenings, or does anyone have an alternative mod that might work? I'm currently playing through it with my mage, and I just respecced Anders as an AW. It's my very first time playing with that spec, and even though I like it overall, the sheathing/unsheathing of weapons whenever you cast certain spells is kind of annoying. I don't know if Spellweaver would fix this, but in order to use it I'd have to restart the entire Awakening campaign since I didn't have it in my inventory when I imported my character over (I'm in the mines in Wending Wood at the moment).

@Admiral K:
Arcane Warrior Casting Fix 1.0.2 works in Awakening. I made a small video where the AW uses Cone of Cold, Winter's Crasp and Stonefist without sheathing his weapons.

@all:
My additions to the list in the first post...

Mods working for me:
- Black Templars Armor
- Shade Leather Armor

Sort of working:
- Forgotten Armor: carries over to Awakening, but set bonus doesn't work

Advanced Tactics 3.0 beta:
Works without any problems when using the Invisible Wall Fix.
Only the two entries for using weakest/strongest stamina poison are missing...

I did manage to get the Arcane Warrior fix working (when I saved the file, I renamed it, so I just reverted back to the default name), but I'm now having a problem with Advanced Quickbar. The OP says that it works, but I haven't had any success. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Admiral K, open your AddIns.xml and search for " <AddInItem UID="advancedquickbar" ...".

Duplicate the whole section (until "</AddInItem>") for this mod.

In the copy edit the value of the attribute "ExtendedModuleUID" from "Single Player" to "DAO_PRC_EP_1".

There's a new mod for having max tactic slots: http://social.biowar...m/project/2341/

I'll check tonight how stable it is.
