There will probably be new squadmembers in Mass Effect 3, so who do you want to stay with you?

I'd like to keep Legion and Grunt at a minimium. Adding Garrus and Mordin if I could.

All but Jacob and Thane. Thane should either be hospitalized or dead by time ME3 takes place.

This. Flesh them out some more. We don't need any new ones, already got a bloody army by the time ME2 ends anyway and not nearly enough content to use all of them in (well, not without playing through 7 times anyway)

That said all the ones from ME1 should return imho, there's a few in ME2 that I wouldn't mind too much if they dissapeared but everyone from ME1 ought to be there, as a squadmate (though I guess having 2 Krogan and 2 Asari biotics might be a bit of a stretch, but if it comes to choosing I think I'd prefer the ME1 people over the ME2 ones)

Kaidan or Ashley, certainly.  Getting Liara back would be great.

I'm willing to let Wrex stay on Tuchanka, so long as his awesome plays a huge part in the story, and we get to interact with him more than we did in ME2.  Grunt does well in Wrex's place on the crew.

Tali is an absolute must have.  In part because I simply really enjoy her character all around, and also because she's the LI of my Soldier Shepard.

SAme goes for Garrus.  Shep's wingman and friend should stand shoulder to shoulder with his brother/sister in arms to the bitter end.  And Legion.  I'd pay to keep Legion available as a party member, so long as we get access to it early.

I'd love to get Mordin back.  Samara, too.

Everyone else, while interresting, didn't really pique my interest as these characters did.

i'm not sure thane will be in it though, you're all forgetting something that he says at the end of his recruitment mission that he's only got a year to live, if the reapers get there within the year then thane will die soon after

I prefer having all the ME2 squad members as opposed to new ones. What better way to reward those who kept them alive and punish those that didnt.

Who do I want back for ME3? Every single surviving squadmate. This will differ from Shepard to Shepard, but that's a good thing. If you wipe out most of your squad in ME2, your ME3 playthrough will have a rather empty ship. Deal with the consequences.

I want everyone to come back. I think that the current characters need to be flushed out instead of removed for new characters. In order, I NEED to see:
