I just beat Dragon Age last night and decided to move on to Mass Effect 2.  I took my hard drive over to my buddies and downloaded all the available content but when I play it on my system (offline) I don't see it available.  Do I have to play online to have access to the things I downloaded or does it just not show up only an hour in to the game?

Thanks.

The only options are that the content might be on your freinds system but I highly doubt that. You have to play online because there is content like that and when you get this content it should show up on a message you have to read from your private terminal.

I never redeemed it off the site - did it straight from the XBOX. Now when I try to do it off the website it won't let me. This is a huge pain, does Bioware/EA offer replacement codes?

It all shows up on my XBOX hard drive - I just can't tell if it is accessible in game - for instance I don't see the Dragon Age Armor I should have.

the DLC will be tied to his console because the HD was in his console. That's how most if not all downloadable content on the Xbox 360 works.

Kim - thanks but I did the same thing with Dragon Age: brought my Hard Drive and it worked on my console once inserted. Don't see how this one should be different, and it is showing up on my hard drive just not able to access it.

If that is the case is there anyway I can have an additional code that won't require me to purchase it? I'm a medical student and always broke - don't feel like paying the additional 15 dollars when I already purchased the game.  I really don't want to have the game stink for me b/c I had something go wrong that wasn't in the instructions.

It was the following: Blood Dragon Armor, Cerebus Arc Projector, Cerebus Weapons and Armor, Normandy Crash Site, and Zaeed.

Easy fix. Delete the content from your hard-drive, then navigate over to your xbox live download history and redownload the items. It will be tied to the xbox you download it on.

Had to do this when MS replaced my last xbox.

I downloaded it on his x-box though, just with my hard drive inserted.  Will it still work?  My room doesn't have internet access so I went to his system to download everything, it didn't say anything on the Cerebus insert regarding this so I didn't think it would be an issue.

No, it will be an issue. That's the xbox's DRM It ties your stuff to your hardware, if you redownload it, it will be tied to the xbox it was downloaded on. Delete it from your harddrive, and take your whole xbox w/ your hard drive to his room to download the content.

Thanks - does that mean I will have to pay for the downloads now since I already used the free 1-time code?

as long as you're signed into the same account that used the code the first time you should be able to download it again for free.
