Hey all,
I'm trying to install Dragon Age Origins: Awakening and it keeps saying "installation failed". I've completed the original game, and every time it tries to patch to 1.03 in the installation prompt it says "installation failed" and shuts down. I've tried it 4 times now and even restarted my PC to no avail.
If someone can please tell me why the game is doing this I'd be most appreciative.
Thank you for your time.

Hi all,
I'm experiencing the exact same issues as posted above. I even uninstalled the game and re-installed it, downloaded the DLC I was licensed for and still no joy.
Is this a "mod" issue, or maybe a "cheat" issue? Has anyone else out there experienced this behaviour? It's a shame really,....spending $45.00 CDN and can't even install this Expansion Pack.
Any ideas from the clever folks out there?
System Specs:
Windows 7 x64 Ultimate
Intel Core i7 860
4 GB Patriot DDR3
Powercolor Radeon HD5770 (1 GB DDR5)
Creative Soundblaster X-Fi Xtreme
MSI P55-CD53 Mobo
2x Patriot Warp 32 GB SSD's in RAID 0 (Windows & Applications except DAO)
1x WD 150 GB 10,000 rpm Raptor (game - in mounted separate partition, User accounts, swapfile, temp dirs.)
1x Seagate 1 TB 7200 rpm SATA2 disk (backup & disk images)
500W OCZ Stealth power supply
