I just Installed a new hard drive and OS on my PC (got rid of Vista finally) and copied my ME2 game saves from my previous install. And now it doesn't seem to want to recognize those saves is there any way of resolving this or am I just gonna have to replay ME2...(not that thats a bad thing, just got quite a few hours wrapped up in those saves)
Any help would be great.

When you backed up your saved games, did you do the individual files or the whole Documents\\Bioware\\Mass Effect 2 directory? If you backed up just the individual files, make sure they go into the Documents\\Bioware\\Mass Effect 2\\Save (which also contains subfolders for each of the saved playthroughs) directory. Also, make sure you reinstall any DLC that you had with those saved games.

Yup, I backed up the entire directory thinking thats all I needed to do to keep my saves, but I guess I was wrong.

well I feel like an idiot now.....looks like i didn't put it in the bioware folder
