First, I realize there are no continued romances going on in Awakenings, so I wasn't expecting that.

But Alistair appears and acts as though he and my character have never been in love AND he's king - despite the fact I chose Anora to be queen and chose for he and I to roam the countryside together.

Did I somehow screw up the import, or is this just how it's supposed to play out?  I just chose to play Awakenings and selected "Import character" and chose my main.  No specific save was given a choice and the last save I can personally go back to is the one just before I walk out and the final choices are all laid out.  Does the game not know I've completed it for some reason and therefore, it thinks Alistair is King?

To add: I just went to look at my auto save for that character. After I completed the game, I went back and played out different endings, just to see what happened. My latest auto save reads that Alistair is king. : ( So does the system pull in the data from this auto save, despite the fact that my last save has a different result? If so, I guess I have to go back and play the ending for my main to get the auto save to re-save to the result I want?

In the FAQs on the website it says that no matter what end you came up with, Alistair is king and doesn't want to fight. So ,no you didn't do anything wrong,

Ok, Awakenings imported in a level 19 character despite the fact that my character ended the game at 21. Lovely. So I guess my question is, any other way to get the autosave to kick in currently so I don't have to go back and replay the game ending?

Ok, thanks, but I still have issues. *sigh* I read the FAQ, but somehow missed that so thanks for clearing it up.

You can use the "advanced" function to choose a specific save when importing. Otherwise, the import function just chooses the most recent save, which for you would seem to be the save in which you tried out different endings.

If you made Alistair King & you became his queen you are still "married" in Awakenings. He gets a little sentimental & will kiss your character when he leaves.

Anora was queen in mine. No mention of Alistair was made until the epilogue cards, so I'm pretending he was at Weisshaupt.

Alistair is king in mine, but there is no mention of Anora when he meets you at the Vigil. Then in the dialog with Howe he sarcastically mentions how Anora would love to have another Howe around. So are they married in Awakenings no matter what?

Alistair was still my PC's 'true love' in the epilogue cards, and they disappeared together at some later point, so I'm assuming he wasn't married to Anora...correct for my Origins ending.

Yeah, I went back and chose the save to import and then restarted Awakenings. This time Anora showed up as queen, which is how I chose for it to be.

I dont think so. My PC married him and they referred to each other as husband and wife, but I havent gotten that far I just finished all the main plot quests before the hord attacks but I want to get the side quests finished first. I always wondered what happened to Anora. Unless she is still sitting in the tower.
